The best AGA demo I've ever seen. I don't think anybody has ever been able to imitate the new effects in this demo since - or at least not to the same standard.
Another good AGA demo from the very few I have watched till now in my new borrowed Amiga1200 (Which I will give back to my friend at summer and by one for my own) it was very good! I want to search for more good AGA demos but especially for my A1200 and not the others 68030+ which will go at 5fps on my own..

Panda: Never been a non-aga version of Nexus7, but a lot of newbies seem to think Nexus7 is OCS/ECS just because it was released before they joined the scene..8-)

I wish I had an amiga to watch this one in its full glory instead of ugly divx. Every part of this demo is there to be loved and cherished, used as inspiration.

the natural motion part was 10 years ahead..
There are effects in here that I have not seen copied anywhere (the fuckings scroller for example). First time that I saw a shadecluster aswell. The lens balls are cool too.. In fact everything in this demo is cool.. Except the music ;)

IMO it totally shocked the competition in late '94 - so much that basically the whole amiga demoscene went down the drain in early 95. There just wasn't much left to be shown to top it in the league of classic hardware-effects-based demos. Late '95 and '96 things recovered a bit with c2p-based demos like ZiF/Tint/The Gate.

superb stuff!! the lamp part is unmatched to this day.. never seen that plasma in any other demo either.. nor the infinite scroller, nor the two colour landscape.. the shadecluster was a first in this demo too.. its just tonnes of new stuff all the way :)

I still remember seeing this demo for the first time when they were playing it during a demoshow on the bigscreen of Somewhere in Holland, and wow, was I impressed.

Never thumped this one up yet.. I was dissapointed seeing the Virtual Dreams demo at tp94 but this one really made my day...
Ofcourse most visiters of tp94 were teens or in early 20's so everything was really important even raytraced scrollers ;-)

Made us all collapse at the Party... I can watch it over and over again and it never gets boring. Aweseome graphics, great music by Interphace (remember, long letters only, pal) and some stunning effects. Andromeda is design!

One of the best Amiga demos of all time! On my A1200 with 030 there was a problem - the demo hangs in the scene with bouncing light-sphere (just one scene over and over). If you experience the same problem, try WHDLoad version of the demo - it works for me perfectly.

This demo did very little for me. I don't really enjoy effect demos where effects are put outside any kind of context, it just feels empty. But that motion blur, plasma zoom and the shaded ball... that was good shit right there. Thumb up.

Otherwise there are lots of awesome effects, synced together very tightly. When you have show one Amiga demo to someone, this is propably one of the best options :)
