Extremely well thought out demo. In conjunction with other Moppi releases it can easily be called a distincive, mature style.

Disregard the (pathetic) cartoon-like textures and you're left with a very primitive 3d engine - nothing more.
Maybe my PC isn't powerful enough to run this as intended, but I've seen a lot better demos/intros running in much lower specs.

this demo is excellent.. but crappy at home on my slow computer/videoboard. in the world of hw accelerated demos, don't blame everything you see on the demo coders. :/
oh yeah and, best pc demo at assembly'2001, and so far, best demo of the year.

it would be the best moppi demo so far if there were 2 mike's in 3lg but since they were 3, 3lg remains the shit. but gerbera was very _very_ impressive. (it lives up to the 5 minutes of waiting that it takes to load).

Awesome design, plus a lot of effects that I'm seeing for the first time. Cloud scenes are very hungry on video-bandwidth, but you get that. Animation and texturing reminds me somewhat of Gorillaz music vids.

Very nice 3D (i love cellshading and clouds!), clever use of video, wonderful music, and no useless or boring part. At least a demo with style and brain, i absolutely love it.

Usually I do not like such demos at all, but this is way to cool for anything else than a thumb up. The combination of cartoon rendering, normal 3D graphic and 2D combined with suitable music is well-made. The best parts are the robot seeds falling into the gerbera...

When reviewing demos from 2001 then this one is probably the best. Innovative ideas, kickass design & style plus a soundtrack which creates the perfect atmosphere for the whole thingy

This is THE SHIT! actually one of the best demos ever so far. i wonder why some people dislike it or at least think its not great because its so fucking perfect imho. when i watch this i emotions emerge. great music. great animations. nice story. i have so much thoughts when i see those little robots and the sunflower. very cool breakbeat in the end. simply cool. i love you!

Everything is perfect in this production and every single scene works great in the context. Moppi are incredible in creating such a solid and consistent pieces of art!
I've never understood why this is so popular. It's a good demo with original style (as far as demoscene goes, reminds me of mtv :X), but... somehow it doesn't connect. It leaves pieces missing.
Cool demo, but the framerate drops in the second part for no particular reason to ~1fps (for some seconds, than normal again, than drop down,...)

Great Demo! You can easily feel that theier “devotion GAVE THEM THE power TO CREATE”. Thumb Up! I love the clouds and how the music and picture support each other … but I remember, that I was always a bit sad, that there was not a little bit “more” ...

I remember seeing that demo on Demoscene.tv back then with a friend and beer, and suddenly he says: "Oh that's the demo one guy at #somethingsomthing sent around".
As being quite stunned that someone knows the demoscene, or better that somebody even knows this demo - I asked him who this guy was, and he told me a name, I forgot, and mentioned that he might show up at the next BBQ near the dorm.
Actually forgot about all this when the BBQ came on, and talked with a lot of people, mind you we all were at University, most of us studying CompSci - so nerd talk was normal. However one guy, a friend of mine asked utterly precise 3D gfx related questions, sticked out. Suddenly, we were talking about demos, and this demo. It was KeyJ I met this day, almost couldn't believe I actually met a scener in this dirty city. Me, still trying to get my jaw back up just adored his stories, a guy who won stuff at Evoke, spoke to me - it was surreal, these guys didn't usually boil water the normal way, they were gods to me.
It went on from that, however this demo still reminds me on meeting KeyJ, now someone I consider a very good friend, for the first time. Love the demo of course :)
