Very negative is that you wait a lot until it starts. (Ok,. you can save the extracted datas in a temp file, so that the next times it will run immidiatelly,. but then it's not an 64kb anymore (And I think it eats around 20MB in HD If I am not wrong.. :P)

I agree with all of the aforesaid comments. A really magnificent intro complemented by an equally astounding soundtrack.
The music reminds me more than enough of the tunes in TBL's Jizz and Stash, and otherwise the style is pretty much the same, which already says that this is excellent, but the Aardbei boys have taken it further and this is by far my favourite 64k around.
I've seen this prod right after after Ambience 00 closing, but I really want to put a thumb up for this, even if I'm that late :D

Just watched it after a few years break. Just as when this was released I still can't figure out what's seemingly so great about this intro. The sum up what we're looking at here:
- nice and well balanced soundtrack, even if it's a bit unimaginative from time to time
- pretty standard effects (though the scene in the screenshot rocks big time)
- nice transitions
- butt ugly colours
- meaningless typography
All in all, there's a good flow through the intro but after watching I've already forgotten what really happened. Still, not bad at all and thus I'll please the cookie thing with a piggie.

superplek: blobs, tunnels and landscapes - pretty standard stuff in my eyes. the only really new thing was that ptct was one of the first good looking 3d accelerated intros.

melw: Well, I do not think that 2ndreality is great because of the effects, but because of the music and the flow.. so what. This is exactly what this prod is good in. I mean, the music is just toooo great. I know, some standard prodigy-like drums and some tranceish melody but it is welll done!
despite of the precalcs, it still rules so very very much. nice tune btw!

music was amazing!! splendid composition and a damn fine softsynth engine! i didn't like the 'lava' type of textures tho. and there were wrapping errors in the texturing. the fx were a bit contrasting but good nevertheless. shame i can't judge it with a modern system (old gfxcard here).
one of the first prods i ever saw when i first got interested in the scene, and its really impressive. the textures are very pretty and detailed for an intro. the music sounds like its hq :). i really like the sine-sphere-deform, allthough its a classic effect. that thing really looks eatable. and i bet it would have tasted quite well aswell :). Three years old and still looks brand new.

Music with hints of The Prodigy and Lords of Acid, amazing sound quality, specially for a 64k.
I always admired this intro but I never thumbed it. So here is my thumb. For a 64k intro, which is over 15 years old now, the sound quality is just amazing. Especially the first part of the music is still out of reach these days.
This intro would still win 64k compos in 2016
