Plenty of colors with this great demo which follows very well the kickin' ass soudtrack.

The soundtrack is probably one of the coolest ones in the PC scene. 3D scenes are a explosion of colors. Lots of effects, nice design. Watch out for the afro hairstyles, they kick ass.

now, this is THE DEMO! perhaps my absolute favorite on PC (along with few others...).
the soundtrack is what to be expected from amiga musicians - awesome stuff squeezed in 4 channels, big up Yolk and Legend, this is the way! the demo just takes you when it starts and keeps until you get back to the DOS prompt.
3D scenes are not boring there, the colors are choosed carefully, though this demo would look much better one amiga because of low resolution, well it is PC and i wont regret that still... the code contains some quite complex scenes and is still very fast and optimized - on my p75 it all goes very smooth!
one highlight is the scene with spaceships or something over mountains. gosh, i still didnt see more impressive this kind of sight in a demo!!

hmm, raver. What a wise man he is. : ) Well, this IS one of the best demos on PC , so don't miss it , if you haven't seen it already. Mindblowing 2d and 3d effects combined with it's great music makes it an awesome demo.

This demo kicks ass bigtime! The effects and music fit together perfectly and the design is very good. All in all its one of my all time favourites.

I saw this at Wired on the big screen, and it blew my head off. this demo is Kkool. It oozes quality from start to finish and may not be missed by any selfrespecting demo Phreakk.

as someone allready mentioned this demo is all about quality. Solid design. Great gfx. Great music. Must admit though that I didn't like it when I first saw it on the bigscreen at tg but it grew on me.

still a good demo, one of the better demo soundtracks.

Apart from the flyby which is totally out of place this is solid gold. Too bad cncd's done so few since inside's really one of the best demos of all time. Unusually strong design for it's time - indeed for any time. Rich coulours and beauty, all in glorious 8 bits but you'd never believe it.

like tons of other pc demos but earlier and just loads better. they got eye for details.

the first effect (with cncd/inside logo) looks like a 3d kaleidoscope.. wow! i swear i thought i was first with that idea but now i'm not so sure ;)

the black guys shadows in the scene are really great. the magic carpet scene is well done. the water is done completely right. the last 2 effects are slightly boring: the 2d polar rotator is nowdays a fave on 8 bit ;)) and the cyber bananahenge seemed a bit uninspired, unlike the rest of this thing, i might add =)

overall: damn good. i'm not that knowledgable on the pc demoscene but i guess this is a milestone. =)

Great demo, just one question:
I saw an article in a german game mag about an upcoming sci-fi flightsim game, kinda elite-like. There was also a video iirc.
The game was supposedly based on the code from the spaceship-over-planet-scene from this demo, but they claimed it would run fluidly in 800x600x16bit on a P100 without hardware acceleration.

Was there indeed a game in the works based on this? Was is supposed to be released by the ill-fated Scavenger company?

I remember this because it was on the coverdisk of a German games magazine back in the day. I think because there was talks of a game being made by people involved in this demo as well. Some Descent like game, but open world or bigger outside areas and such (like the short one seen in this demo too)
