Bloody Brilliant! Really good looking and as usuall good work from Zoom!! All I miss is a new synth. Gargaj's 4k synth sound almost as good as the 64k one. All in all, once again a really good intro from the Hungarians! :)
Not impressed. Looks too much like cliched 80s sci-fi effects. Lots of glowing, very little substance. Sorry, but not my preferred Conspiracy style or quality.

To be honnest I expected more from CNS for an Assembly invitation.
But hey, that's the problem when you have a kickass 64k engine/introtool, people expect amazing things every single time and their opinion is almost biased from the very beginning ;)

Some spaces feel a bit empty and the intro is not absolutely perfect as a whole. Still it is a respectable work. The tron-like rendering style is just great. Reminded me of an old orange intro that employed similar style. Though I think it was a bit incoherent here and there.
For some reason I find this intro very relaxing to watch, great work :)

Splendid quality in a slightly FR-style (need to mention, reminded of Vortex/DD). Even turtle fps wasn't able to spoil a lot. Yeah, we all know about ASM brand, though I expected some promotion words, like greatest party around, freshest beer ever, hottest geek-chicks blah-blah. Anyway, it was the last straw. ASM ahead!

Conspiracy is killing the demoscene. With such amazing productions, there is no hope for the rest of us. The demoscene has reached the ultimate perfection, and there is nothing more to do.

I really loved the way it looked (the 80's semi-sci-fi "glow" feel on the effects, very tron-like in parts)...
But somehow it felt a bit boring and as an invitation it did absolutely nothing for me. I didn't get the "i must attend this party or otherwise i'll have to shoot myself in the face" feeling that an invitation should, imnsho, deliver.

I failed to see the connection between the asm invitation bit and the shiny loose effect soup.

Ok. This didn't start out as an invitation, but we have been asked to do one and our existing intro-concept could be easily turned into it.
For those who didn't get the tron-reference: Assembly has the tron-like mascot guy this year also (like on last year's poster), so we thought the concept would fit perfectly.
I fail to see though how is this less an invitation than VIP2 or the BP05 invitation. Or are cheesy luring phrases a must? That would've spoiled the whole thing imo.

Looks really damn sweet, but otherwise it didn't really stuck on my mind and as an invitation it just doesn't work. There was nothing that made me feel I need to go to assembly nor was there anything related to assembly except for the logo (at least not that I can remember of). Thumb down as an invitation, thumb up as a normal intro. So that makes a piggie.

I fail to see how this is an invitation. Anyway, the visuals are very pretty, although the muzak doesn't do much justice for them. I'll thumb up the final if you get it to run on my 2.4ghz P4 with Radeon9800Pro without those slowdowns.. :)

I'm not the one to state things in the name of the whole group, but as far as I talked to the other guys at the party and in general, I sortof feel that after Beyond, this is probably the intro we're the most satisfied with. It just works.

more a conspiracy intro than assembly invitation, i didn't really get the feeling that this was made to be an invitation. it felt more that the assembly logo had just been added after the intro was ready. a good invitation is something that gets people to wait for the party, i don't think this succeeds in that. so, no thumb up.
Nosfe the fact is that Abyss contacted us ~2-3 weeks before the party when we already had a solid concept, and he agreed that we include the assembly invitation material in that one instead of restarting from scratch.
It might not be a typical kind of invitation, but hey I didn't know vip2 was an invitation until about a year after I first saw it ;D

The ATI version is a made bit brighter due to some blending and antialiasing differences between ATI and Nvidia cards. So if you watch the ATI version on a GF, it's brighter than we intended it to be :)

During Breakpoint I would occasionally peep over the shoulder of Zoom as he tweaked the visuals for this intro. Each individual scene looked really great, especially with the "glowing stuff."
But seeing it on the big screen was the first time I saw everything in succession. To be perfectly honest, I was slightly disappointed due to the lack of connection between scenes. (And I did imagine there was going to be some sort of common thread...)
