Cool idea.
It's crazy that we can look at a few rows of dots and seemingly randomly colored rectangles, and make out *exactly* what it is. Brilliant to combine it with an effect good on its own.

For someone without a clue how this is made, this seems impossible. There's something that obviously is interpreted by our minds as a lot of monitors in front of a big screen. There's the buildings moving. There's the light in the windows blinking, and not only blinking but in sync with the soundtrack. I mean - that's at least 5 different things - in 256 bytes. To a non-coder, this seems impossible - and probably to most coders as well :-) Super well done, and of course a huge thumbs up for this achievement.
Makes me want to be there. Amazing in every way, but especially how the graphic design creates an illusion of the party hall.

Very cool idea, for the first few seconds it really looked like a picture of the hall from the livestream. I also love the fact that despite that 'realism' you still had enough bytes to code a nice animation _and_ music for the 'bigscreen' :D

Even now when I see the screenshot comes into view my brain thinks the bottom part is an actual photo from a demoparty briefly.

If you look closely, the "monitors" aren't even just filled with a single effect... the bottom row of pixels on each one is deliberately random colours to mimic a Windows taskbar, and that's a detail I hadn't even noticed before I looked closely at a static image of it.
