All the code in the demo except for the ZX0 decompressor is mine, but I'm not surprised that others have something similar.
I took a look at the code in Info Guide #13 (I assume it is the code in the Sprite Engine for 48k), and the code that shifts using a lookup table looks very similar.
that's a quite insane Speccy prod, amazing work dudes.

And I love that it loads up all at once (in a single 11min run), instead of stopping every 10 seconds asking to load some more.

The circle geometry part...is crazy! how you do that???
The fire spiral show all the potential of the lo-res mode of the speccy : the 32x24
16 colors video mode.
Something that nobody understood back in the days, everybody used the colour locked version of 256 x192 pixels, with the uggly and innecesary attribute clashes.
A design fault over cheap budget or a feature?
