at first i wanted to point out that the machine itself is probably just an ordinary pc, but then i realized that the wildness of the prod comes from the implausible presentation and the red tape needed to pull it off :)

Okkie: Yeah, I mean they cut the video, so I guess they didn't hack a real running ATM in a bank. Don't know whether it's running on a real ATM or they just connected a PC to the monitor.
Isn't it obvious that the dude just works with ATMs and made a demo for one and to build suspension he walks into a bank with the same type of machines so it seems it is there?

great "big balls" demo. of course it's not running in a real bank, of course an ATM might be simply an old windows pc (but maybe not), but so what? still it's of course a "real" ATM and no "fake" in any way (apart fromk the haujobb money maybe). the guy most likely works with the ATM company, so he dedicated some of his work time for the scene's pleasure - and it's great.

OK it's cool. It has a good set-up and he gets way more than the 20 Euros he asked for. It is still more about the frame than the picture, but it is a very nice frame.
Sir: Thing is, most ATMs/ticket machines are still running Win3.11 or NT4.0 here (Germany that is) ... commonly with quite over the top specs like 2Ghz and 512mb RAM.
Therefore the specs of the used machine would be interesting to know, so judge the actual quality of the demo.

How come before the demo starts there is no shadow of a filmcamera in the atm window and when the demo starts there is a shadow in the window ? None-the-less, WTF feeling! How did they do it? great stuff!! show me the money!!

i'm not sure if windows is the prefered platform for atm's in denmark. in fact i think most of them run on a crippled version of os/2 or something.

Remember seeing this at the party, and it actually scared the shit out of me - back at home I noticed that two different fronts of the machine.
Nonetheless, ace work to be able to lay your hands at such a machine and using it for demopurposes <3
