Awesome 4k! Congrats!
yup, this was good, really nice water.
Winner for sure.
clear winner - very impressive
indeed one of the best at evoke.
oh yeah
superb
the best at evoke..
Doesn't run at all on my Gf 8600GTS, but what the heck, it looked great on the stream so here goes the thumb...
Very impressive. I was annoyed though that the thing didn't go into the tunnel that it was forming :)
Does it need DX10/Vista?
What d3dx9_xx.dll does it need? Maybe I get only a black screen because it misses one.
Pretty kick ass.
Okay. I guess I have to update my nVidia drivers then. I am using GeForce 8800 GTS 512 - should work.
beautiful in every aspect!
Great
i am sure this is a nice prod but it is crawling on my not-so-old system to the point that i had to esc :(
Nice prod!
pretty nice (although it runs at <1fps here, XP+8600) Music is nice and rendering very clean. Great! (me wants video now)
Epic win
very watchable. Colors, mood, music and scenes fit very well together.
Very nice and "atmospheric" 4k, nice work.
(quite low framerate on my 8800 GTS btw)

Great!
Same as Salinga, just a black screen.
Sweet wind in my ears :).
black screen here as well (NVidia GTX 260). I've updated my NVidia driver 1-2 months ago. I'll update it again and retry. Btw, I tried it on XP 32 bits system. I also have Vista 64 bits installed which I haven't tried on yet.
Exactly what Preacher said - and low framerate indeed!
really nice, my favourite one from the party :)
pretty nice scenes!
ok
was really great
Cool one!
video please?
a bit boring
i like it
it was really nice at first, but then it went on a bit too long, so you had time to reflect a bit more - which actually made this seem worse again for a while..
still good enough for a thumb though :)
still good enough for a thumb though :)
Blue screen (not BSOD) on ati 4870 :(
it gets boring after a while, but thumb up for the eyecandy-ness.
absolutely brill
metacube and all that goodstuff
metacube and all that goodstuff
Well done. Good colours, interesting ambience.
Pretty ok but no thumb up due to horrible framerate.
Crystal clear visuals!
Fucking awesome!
This made my graphics card weep uncontrollably, but gorgeous visuals.
Watched the video now. Looks beautiful but it's quite boring.
damn good
nice
Beauty!
nice, but a bit boring
and judging from the youtube and the comments, it must be extremely slow :)

excellent stuff again !
too bad it runs at like 10-20 fps on my demobox :/

very slow ( 9600GT ), BUT very cool looking !
Excellent stuff! Worthy winner
cool - now make it run in realtime ;)
eye candy for the bored
Very impressive.
thats very very cool, i love the music :)
What kohai said. And good music too!
Great atmosphere and such beautiful use of colour. The graphics man deserves a nice pat on the back for this!
Good music too which really complemented the atmosphere.
My only complaint is the sudden transitions and hyperactive camera movements, which weren't really consistent with the peaceful mood.

Beauty
overall nice. Some scene transitions in the begin very over horrible and the intro itself felt a little too long to be 2:30 long.
That looks really cool, I didn't get the end part really, was the sea being turned into lava or something?
The music was really good too.
The music was really good too.
showing the distorted box over the glory hole for more than 1 minute is over the top ... :-)
awesome
Nice vectorslime
nice ambiance, cool music, but i didn't enjoy the 1fps framerate... (on a 8600GT) sadly, in the end, it looks more like a slideshow....
looks great...a slideshow on anything other than 640x480?! What kind of hardware is needed for reasonable fps?
.
rulez
Impressive. And hey, on my hw it's slightly faster than salvation! ;)
unfortunately, it didn't work here. but I watched the video. nice visuals.
Very low fps here, but it has some real atmosphere.
one part makes the scene too dark, rest is quite nice and its 4k!
Framerate is just... makes it unenjoyable I think. :(
Vectorslime 2.0 - now with more SHINE!
ok
great
Great. I don't get the ending at all though - there's an explosion and the sea becomes mud?
Great atmosphere!
Pretty slow. But pretty good.
.
lovely
damn slow (2-3 fps) even at low res on GeForce 9600m GT. Beside slowness, very nice music and colors. Very nice blobby cube too :)
Wow, a 4k not part of the d3dx-whatever developer-library lamer/cheating posse.
Real code = instant thumbup!

We all know the power of D3DX9DrawPerlinNoiseWater().
Very interesting concept, with the sand-water morph.
Simple, yet beautiful landscapes.
Slow on an nvidia geforce 9600GT @ 512MB.
Although we must admit that it had nice visuals!

what ? no matter if OpenGL or DirectX, all we do is drawing 2 Triangles and the rest is pure GLSL / HLSL - shader-code !
( except the Synth which gopher did in Assembler ! )
nice stuff right there..
what a beauty! I'm speechless!
Hmm... nice colorschemes but well...that's it really.
Yeah 9500GT here. At 640x480 I'd expect a little more than 1 FPS. Is there something wrong or is it really just that slow?
Nice
i wasnt sure if it ran correctly (the stars looked really weird at the start), but the color choices and music convinced me.
A bit slow but nice looking.
Slide show. I don't see anything special enough that it should run so slow.

Btw this is a massive improvement over the last 4k release valleyball from BP09, so again, well done xtr1m. I'm wondering, since there seems to be no atmosphere, is this an ocean of gas we are looking at? :)
By no atmosphere i mean no high level clouds etc... just mist above the ocean, it looks wonderful all the same. Lunar atmosphere perhaps, very thin :D
Cameras and music were VERY monotonous, and it was very slow...but it was a nice looking prod; the textures make it good enough for a thumb...that's about it though.
..Forgot the thumb.
BTW...wtf is valleyball doing in there again? Move on already :P

the beginning is awesome, but then its super boring..
def best blue flame prod yet. Its a slow prod so a slow cam would have been better but it looks great had some atmos and ended well.
Nice rubber cube.
sorry, this was just boring
+ambience
+music
- direction
Just because its a 4K, but give us more...

Really good. I just missed some more scenes and better direction, but anyway, it is amazing
really well done 3D transformations there.
I like it
I like it
slideshow :(
It was rather normal...
Kinda slow here but it looked so clean!
rounded, metallic textured cube, waving 3D and floating over a hole in a sea, camera rotates around cube, sun sets and rises,
little nice synth music
little nice synth music
Not bad, but slow. :(
Amazing, beautiful, breath taking. I really enjoy that atmosphere.
thumb down for fps
Not too bad. Took a while to get this one going but yep 4K is good :) The atmosphere was cool.
good looking sunset/antisunset effect and water. Nice ending.
The cameras were a bit aimless somehow, but not too terrible. Good enough for xmix technovideo style anyway :)

m0d: well, there's a huge planet with rings in the background, so it certainly isn't supposed to be earth
nice twisty cube :-)
nice twisty cube :-)
crashes at start.... windows 7.
nice
looks good
Nice, but got boring after a while
Looks nice.
video seen. awesome. a big thumb up.
ok
beautiful, but more scenes would've been nice (a bit too uneventful this way) and it ran so slowly :(
nice
Massive 4K like the athmosphere of it, nice cube :D
slow
nice
This prod aroused some of my old memories from childhood...
He he! You will never know what it was :-)
@ cab :
then THUMB IT UP !!!
(i like it too.)

never noticed how 'solaris' this is, i love it
rulz
Does not deserve the first place at Evoke compared to Paradistance by Titan.
wonderful
nice
Hi there. Awesome rulage of course.
Just so you know, maybe it's me but 1280*720 seems to be 1680*1050...

Ah, i suspect incase a resolution is not found the intro uses desktops one...jeez, had you space to waste in 4 kilo!
Nice job, but now the standard of 4k is higer since Elevated/TBC, Texas/Keyboarders or Sult/Loonies...
good
Very nice beginning, nice cube, couple strange notes in the music.
good.
The effect is cool and the colors show a fine artistic sense. Only the camera is boring.
Nice effects and colors :)
8-O
limited, but very nice ambiance and colorscheme, nice work
great prod.
Like it.
Very slow on GeForce GTS 250/Vista, ugly unantialiased. So much power for environment mapping? :(
:)
shiny chrome cube together with nice music :)

I like "jelly" cubes and wtf!! it's 4k!
Very nice water effects & cube!
this would have pleased my even without music.
Only the uncompressed version works... the compressed one crashes under both 2k and w7 =(
Apart from that some visual flaws, yet still a remarkable prod for a few k

nice nice
Netbeans?
nice visuals, music and flow
blueflame ftw!
blueflame ftw!
Really great feeling of being on a planet with day and night passing by in seconds. Perhaps should have reversed animation of the cube instead of restarting it halfway. And reall - what BiTS said about the music :D Not too impressed with that to be honest. Rest works great, though.
A bit too long for the (essentially) one effect it does. Ok.
Nice
cool
