However, the collection is of high quality, although I heard many tunes, that have been released before. Another thing I dislike is to pack all tunes in a data file (although it's not a big deal to extract them, but still, it takes some time :))

The hidden part sucks, it doesn't look oldschool at all! Too many colors.

Great mix of tunes, even if I skip the ones that are way too f@#$ing loud. :) Werd to US comrades Beek and Virt. I actually prefer tunes to loop rather than skip to the next.. the best chiptunes can play for half and hour without you realizing it. :) On the downside, the window's a bit too small for a large desktop.

I still have your entries for 20mc Phoenix.. and I've been to #trax.. not only it's difficult to get them into a new 20mc.. it's even difficult to get them to talk about tracking whatsoever.. (and sometimes even music!)

i think the interface fits just right with the songs :)
by the way if you want ohc/chipcompos you should probably come on espernet sometime... we have loads of compos (but there's no schedule so it's basically based on whim... i.e. "let's do a compo! yay")

esper.net is a network made by rpg kiddies and anime freaks... but it's a very stable network and a lot of awesome people hang around there if you happen to wander into the right channels ;p

anyone managed to rip the tunes? the interface is ok but i'd like to listen to all the tunes without skipping manually.
the tunes are extremely nice, but unfortunately the interface seems to have some kind of resource leak, after running it for a while, icons disappear from my (w98) desktop...
still, this prod rules and i hope for a fix for the interface (or at least a ripper option...)

Like the music. Let down by the fact the interface is messed up when using 'Large Fonts'...

Very very good chips! And ALOT of them! :-) a MUST download. The interface does the job, although its true its got some memory leak every time you move to a new song. Lotsa oldskool fun! :-)

What's all the fuss about? It's nothing more than a basic module player. Certainly nothing exceptional in terms of code or design.

all of the musicians seem to have very good technical skills. in fact the skills are so 'good' that in some cases the idea of a song has been forgotten. more over, some of the songs have those annoying never-ever-ending-'melodies' that just keep on playing and playing untill the song ends. horrible! it seems like there is an extra track on the pattern that has to be filled with something...
overall i find this product fairly good as there -are- some outstanding songs on the collection, although i wouldn't go so far as to give the thumbs-up for this - thing.
