It's now safe turn your 680x0 off. Copper+Blitter sorcery
amazing :)
As a 680x0 junkie. I'm offended. Now ignore me and proceed with the challenge.
Great stuff!
Funnily, I also "invented" the nocpu tech independently some time ago. See https://infosec.exchange/@harrysintonen/112627238742582618 for writeup. Of course my hack is far from actual "real code", it only does simple game of life and implements simple cycling loops by performing SMC on the copperlist.

Rules like Interceptor :D
How is it possible to write a computer program that doesn't use the CPU?
The demo itself is very well designed and also features good graphics.

I just love this!
Whole package is so good
Super cool invitation and great idea.
🙃👍
had no idea you could do all that without using any CPU cycles
Cool tech and awesome presentation!
Fantastic! Really looking forward to whatever is going to be the fallout from this.
Good work, guys!
It's a crazy idea, but maybe it proves that Amiga can run Atari-level demos without using the CPU?
If so, I propose that CPU-free Amiga demos can compete in Atari compos :D (Just kidding, don't get mad at me, Atari fans! xD)

Finally I can watch demos without slowing down my Bitcoin mining.
Love it! Insane to have the Copper play Paula like that. Blows my mind :)
Awesome pixel work, wicked soundtrack, crazy tech... but most of all Blueberry just nails the presentation perfectly.
Fucking sick, even moreso knowing a bit of how it works technically!
Would be rly interesting to see writeup
WTAF?! This is amazing!
Such fresh graphics!
Highlight of the evening for me.
Mooooore !!!!

this is what demoscene is about - ultimate coder porn wrapped in an amazing complete package! needless to say that tune is also on another level on its own!
About to be expected, yet still hits with astonishing force.
On spot execution on all levels.
Let the revolution begin!

Neat
Didn’t expect such an amazing demo for a ”informative” prod like this :)
Fucking brilliant! (pardon my French... oh what the hell)
Next level CPU-less sorcery!
Wonderful to see this making it to the public (and winning too). And even better than the various previews of code, graphics and sound, I've been impressed to witness at Demostue - well done, friends.
Quiet amazing, it's a full fledged solid demo despite not using the cpu.
Potzblitz, this was mindblowing!
Rocks!
One of you guys need to make a video explaining what "pure copper, no cpu" means. As while yes I find it really cool and still would rulez it even if it was a "normal" demo, I don't know exactly what about this makes it more than a normal demo.

Read this now imagine that runs your entire demo.
Nice!
Now that's awesome! Monster copperlists to come....
Cool idea. Nice graphics, music and sync.
Great execution of a cool idea :)
nice
wow, kicked ass at the party!!! cool, fresh, simply DOPE! i joined the rebellion ;)
Excellent stuff, welcome back Slammer.
Incredible, especially the music "player" :)
Coder Porn!
On the one hand, it's crazy impressive that all of this is done without the cpu. And it stands on its own legs as a nice package even when you ignore the key selling point here.
On the other hand, I'm not crazy about getting a whole bunch of "the exact same effects you've seen on this platform before, but this time slightly simpler because we imposed some random limitation on ourselves"-productions.
But again, everything on display here is obvious all-thumbs-up material.

Absolute madness with absolute style. To the people complaining about this being boring - this demo is literally throwing down the gauntlet to you :P
Awesome demo, but I have a question, how to run it on the emulator? If I open it from the folder in the workbench, I only get a black screen. I spent the whole day trying to convert LHA to ADF, I only got errors. I tried formatted the floppy disk, copied the files, added an entry to the df0:s/startup-sequence file. When booting from the floppy disk, the logo with the 3.1 appears and everything stops there. All previous demos from the NoCPU challenge were in ADF format and ran without problems on the Amiga 500 512/512 configuration.
ok that's really cool
Finally an interesting, challenging Amiga demo again! It’s been a while. Stellar work.

The demostyle I love to the bone! Great archievement too! And thx for the surprise in the checkerboard part <3
exceptional. maybe already killing the compo because it is too good :D
What a blast! A1200 surely needed something like this. I still like 68060 (the bully who causes everybody to think that fast mem & C2P is the only way to go), but no CPU is a fresh trend! Super ++ for graphics to Folcka! Awesome!
Cool music and well directed
Enjoyed it a lot!
The hard part when dealing with any Turing Tarpit is making something _good_ with it, and boy did you pull that off :)
lovely invitation! nicely synced too.
Like Amiga demomaking isn't already limited enough, you still have to think of new additional limitations - and you decide to do without the CPU...?!
What the heck is wrong with you guys? ;)

Grundgütiger! Das gefällt mir :-)
Amazing presentation.
this is... totally amazing! Not only a tech coder porn, but also really nicely designed. Congrats!
Big wtf moment! :D
Crazy tech challenge and awesome presentation. Well deserved winner!
I don't understand the tech but seems crazy everything is copper-blitter. And it also runs well on low end AGA and effects and graphics are so cool.
Kann man das als ADF bekommen?
Das muss auf Disk mit coolen Label 😁

Impressively masochistic!
Awesome!
Great design! Loved all of it. Thanks
Epic concept and realisation, all in fine style.
Finally some AGA Demo that doesnt need 68060 :)
Good!
Really good in an overall aspect.
Like the idea about heroines in a japanese-like anime style ;)!
The ladies are not only very beautiful, but also powerfull, as we can see!
Love ya! ;)

Crazy, sexy, cool - idea! This is the real demoscene spirit! Thank you also for the Runner, I was expecting some kind of a (file)loader but having it published as src is even cooler. So GERP is going to have a really "hard-core" and pioneering compo, worth for waiting for!
This needs a huge thumbs up. We all knew that the coprocessors are Turing complete, but it takes a huge effort to make anything look remotely interesting. The copper showdown editor and Savior’s Interceptor intro also deserve a lot of respect, but this entry went so much further. I love that it is not a typical tech demo, but a complete demo with great art, music, coherent design and lots of different screens and effects. Wow
damn, that's impressive!
:)
Finally got a chance to watch this. I love the technical wizardry here, and the demo is nice in its own right.
