This truely is an oldschool killer. I remember watching it 20 times in a row when it first came out. Still one of my alltime favorites.
A lot of peoples were talking about that weird TV-BOX at this time. It was just unbelievable and impossible to do !!! Here is a demo which brings one thousand good sensation given that the music and the codework are very good quality and progresses in the same way.
I loved this one. I have WinUAE only for this demo and Turrican 2 :)

these guys really had it together.. i rememer staring transfixed at the rendered scene with the moving balls, never fully believing that some guy actually wrote the code that made such graphics...
that demo really had substance.. the tv-box.. the neat vectors... the super-cool muzak..

the first demo i ever saw. if i had to choose one demo to represent the scene spirit it would be this one. the music, the logos and fonts, the "we're the best" attitude... everything in this awesome production represents the scene! Thanks Phenomena for bringing me in the the world of demos!

a wonderful piece of scene history - i remember getting stoned and watching this in front of the tv for the first time years and years ago - and it can still evoke the same feeling now. the music is fantastic as are the gfx !
This is the only other demo other than RSI megademo to completly encompass the oldschool scenme feel. And its got the best starfield seen to date. Also TIP the muzak is the best (have it as my winlogion muzak)
Haven't ever seen it, but the demo can't be bad enough to change my opinion about the music :)

This was one of those WAUW experiences... Still one to put on the old Amiga 500. Tip/Firefox's music is just awesome!! Both thumbs up!!

when watching it today it seems quite boring, i'm sorry to say. however i remember how it knocked my socks clean off when it first was released. truly groundbreaking. so i thumbs up this piece.

winden: Can't be the start, since it wasn't first such vector part either. At least Tomsoft did it before in "Trip to Mars". And fortunately the boring flyby part can be skipped with a mouse click :)

imho this is one of the most overrated demos ever, the vectorworld (which is the main effect) is fucking slow...

Thanx for that production, it was beed added to: modcast.de, the Amiga-Modfile Podcast and Radio-Stream resource.
I remember this back in 1991...what an amazing demo!!!...in Portugal ,we were so few and amazed so many!!! the amiga sceners really had great time...even now 15 years later, is still one of the best demos ever made! only 195-5 by plastic...made alive some of the felling of that time...but make no mistakes....this demo represents the era of that time.....memories of the past scene...bbs...irc...cracks or intros of warez...now it is all old school.....shame....
This will never be oldschool it's just now a "classic". This one was just revolutionary in its time.

This Demo and Silents -Ice- have been the most seen demos on my amiga. Simply a classic and nostalgic feelings about this. Damn - haven´t thought a few years about this one.

This is one of the first demos I've seen and it's probably my favourite. The music was awesome and the 3D graphics were revolutionary for their time. Although it hasn't aged very well, it is mind-blowing when you consider that the Amiga 500 only had 512 kb of RAM and a 7 MHz processor.

The raytraced fractal and the soundtrack would be enough to earn a "rulez", but there are so many more amazing moments in this demo. My only minor complaint is that the "trip to mars" section runs a little too long imho - but with soo many good things happening, I better stop complaining. :)

This demo was one of first I ever saw, if not the very first one, this and later second reality from FC formed my expectations for many years, of what a demo should do. And about "that scene with the helicopter and the runway is a little bit boring" from above comment - not in 1991, in 1991 when watching it as kid it was jaw-dropping just because it was realtime 3D, not wireframe, and had music with it. Also the tension, what comes next... And just enough pause to catch the breath.
