Very good for 48K rubber. Just to be complitly shure - this is Rain but you do not use rain/snow glitch of original machine?

No, no glitches here, it is _rain_, not _snow_ :)
added on the 2016-04-30 21:20:45 by introspec introspec
And music stops at the middle of demo just do help rain to go harder?

Wow very nice, beep tune is simply fantastic and gfx fit perfect! The general mood should make it a classic like Timewaster.

Very cool, stylish demo. But you know, when the music is playing, the rain must stop :)

Very moody demo. Should have moved on to the final part of it sooner though, orgs at Multimatograf thought it was over and cut it halfway.

strange mixed feelings about this one, but the music is great.

This is *really* nice. Great story/presentation. So great in fact that you don't even notice/care about the limitations of the platform - limited memory, 1 bit beeper and a music routine that eats up the CPU.

Simplistic and extremely boring (proven by presentation at the party) one-screen effect, ear-cancer sound. Nothing more.
And yes, there was no any reason (except blind ambitions) in 48k self-limitation.

Lord Vader: God, man - You're strongly overreacting on this one. You're so reasonable man - this it over. Why to self-limit to make Amiga 500 demos, having Amiga 1200? Hell, why to self-limit to make Amiga 1200 demo - or Atari ST demos, or ZX Spectrum 48 demos - having good modern PC?
Anywayz. See You on DiHalt, possibly. Haha.

And in general - productions for classic platforms - is what keeps my interest in demoscene at all.

"Think it over" - where is the "eFing" EDIT option on the POUET. :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

PS: OK, I'm sorry guys, but I'm always in favour of the ZX48. ;) You know that. :) This will not change. ;) Greetzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
This is the best beeper demo so far - I wasn't really sure that what we were seeing is possible at all, great achievement. Great tune, great graphics, deep mood - I just hope that "leaving for good" part stays solely in poetry.

Yerzmyey, just ignore lvd. He can be reasonable irl, but he uses thumbdowns exclusively for raging a personal war against some group of people he calls "them".

You use bans, personal insults and slander for raging your personal war against me, so are you better, moroz1999?

Fantastically atmospheric demo!

Other computers may have better gfx and fancy sound chips etc, but this invokes in me (and others it seems) an emotion, and THAT alone is what makes a great prod.

lvd, this personal war is only in your head. Yes, I deleted your account from ZX-Art. The reason is simple - you were agressive, you used voting system for personal attacks, and that was dangerous for the ZX-Art community. You can register again and start from scratch - as long as you don't rage voting wars with some non-relevant offtopic IRC war logs posting, you are fine to stay. I have no problems with you or your opinion, I'm just keeping the level of discussion above flame wars - and yes, it can involve deleting of personal insults or voting wars. So, if you leave the scene wars outside and try to remain more or less objective and constructive in your opinions in the ZX-Art, you are very welcomed back at any time.

I don't see any reasons for me to slander or insult you personally - you've made me angry a pair of times in past, but there is nothing I should really hate for anybody on demoscene, afterall.
I find beep tunes interesting but mostly not very catchy. This one is really good, though and fit very well.

> The reason is simple - you were agressive
Is it your personal imagination or what?

> you used voting system for personal attacks
Another piece of personal imagination?

> that was dangerous for the ZX-Art community.
"Отучаемся говорить за всех" -- have you ever heard of such phrase?

> You can register again and start from scratch
What a generosity from you, I'm almost touched! Previous time it was "I'll remove him as soon as will see him again", right?

> I'm just keeping the level of discussion above flame wars
And below personal insults, yes.

> it can involve deleting of personal insults
Were there ANY personal insults from me? And there are still personal insults FOR me, and I'm sure you won't delete accounts that posted them. So this is your 'above flame wars' -- some are allowed to do anything, others must lick asses and suffer.

> I don't see any reasons for me to slander or insult you personally
Orly? then please explain all this:

And I dont know why, I never truly understood,
But it felt like these thumbs will not be ending.

For some reason I never really liked beeper tunes; but this is a game changer, I loved this track!
The presentation, the perfect graphics and the way the town and stranger are presented; are really top notch.
