Nice music, good demo!
vocals totally ruins it. but i'm kind today. pig.
Skarla roxx stars!! Deserve 1st or 2nd...

Too bad that the visuals didn't keep up with the pace of the music...
I guess this was supposed to be funny, but I missed a joke or something. Nice 2D and some good looking scenes/fx, versus painful music, bad pacing and endless boring flybys. Weak piggy.
Nice but.. Hmm.. Well..
massive!! except the vocals!! but rules anyway...
Some great code in this one.
vocal - sux!
vocals - rulz!
Nice demo otherwise too.
Nice demo otherwise too.
Really MASSIVE ! demo that keep AMIGA vibes alive with some really good stuff ! Congratulations Skarla this demo ROCKS
The physics-part with the bunnys rocks, demos need more physics :)
hell yeah.
Nice demo let down by poorly executed vocals.
wow. what a blast. The vocals don't fit my taste. but damn! this demo IS massive!
quite good but does not reach TBL or elude level
Same vocals criticism, but i think it still deserves a thumb.
rocked hard, but does for me not work even on the latest winuae
Nice come back.
I'm not a fan of Amiga flybys as the geometry and texturing is very basic and easy to make and it's not really pushing the machine if it needs an 060 CPU.
However, I liked the presenation and there were a few nice effects thrown into the mix so as a demo I quite enjoyed it.

Masssive!
Good job!
Nice.
Comeback of the year! please keep em coming!
i can't stand the vocals. seriously. please do an instrumental version. (otherwise the demo rules)
song was not my cup of tea. but amazing comeback Skarla! really hope it is your last.
Massive!
* really hope it is ****NOT*** your last.
anyone knows how to get it to run on winuae?
apart from the vocals.. it was massive!
nice overall job (only vocal stuff is bad or too basic)
I love those smooth flyby scenes as in "When We Ride On Our Enemies".
This reminds me that Jamie mentioned once that there is a fixed/optimized version of Ride (or at least he's working on it). Wondering what happened to it???
Anyway, thumb up ^

The soundtrack doesn't fit the visuals or the general speed of the demo. And it feels empty...
Great execution and graphix but imho vocals aren't at their best.
Loved the vocals! Jungle is massive!
Cringe-worthy music indeed, what were they thinking.
i liked every bit of it, a true amiga demo. i also love the soundtrack, we need more vocals on amiga :)
skarla is massive!
skarla is massive!
This was by far my favorite of the compo. Massive indeed!
my favorite Amiga demo at Revision 2011, great !
MASSIVE!
Fucking great comeback!
yes
The most Massive amiga production at Revision !!!
Should have won... Great !!!
We live in a dictionary in disorder.

We live in a dictionary in disorder.
Cool to see a comeback like this, creates a good demofeeling all around.
Nice comeback! I enjoyed it on the bigscreen! Well done!
Great prod, best in compo imo, I don't like massive massive massive repeating in vocals, but everything else was Superb!
it's nice to see a ripped content ;)
The demo itself is a bit boring and mainly a 3D flyby. The technical part is brilliant, so thumb goes up
Massive crap. Vocals sux!
What Scicco said, but not THAT boring after all! ;)
Oh, and welcome back!
Oh, and welcome back!
it rocks! skarlaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
thank you, skarla, for this very nice demo!
thanks for *finishing* this project to *comeback* with these very nice grafics and nice vocals - i personally like the "massive"-climax. please *stay* back now & keep up your good work because I'd really like to see & hear more from you :)

massive!
vocals didn't work for me, also lack of strobo. still, very nice on the bigscreen
great comeback :)
The visuals are strong but the sound is disappointingly bad. The demo did not work so well for me on the bigscreen, but the work still deserves a thumb up.
this tune did absolutely not work for me.. the visuals are nice.
The vocals are done with heavy use of autotune (or equal soundprocessing) thats not everyones cup of tea. The kewl loader-part, fast 3D and nice tunnel are worth the thumb up.
Good code (as expected from Jamie) and nice graphics/3d too. I also like the references to Jamie's older demos, nice touch. :) The soundtrack would be OK without the vocals which totally ruin it! The "Skarla is massive" part in the soundtrack is VERY annoying and almost destroys the whole demo for me. Still, thumb for the code and graphics.
Good prod guyz, Hope to see more from you.
Massive comeback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very nice demo, code, 3D and effects are fantastic (icy tunnel is my favourite). Music is good no doubts, but maybe girl vocals would fit better ;o)
Great comeback!
thought this whould won the compo
Hint for the use on the real thing.
Start it from a native HiRes screen, i.e. change screenmode beforehand.
From the design-side the fonts and overall presentation totally hit my button, although I would've liked some pieces on the subway trains ;)
The greetings-vocals were over the top starting with the misspelling.
All in all a very enjoyable comeback, but I think it's time to accept that the time of 3D-flyby scenes are over even on the Amiga ;)

Hah! Worthy third place. Technically very good but not very interesting direction. Obviously a thumbs-up :).
not SO massive as the vocals would want make me to believe, but ok otherwise
Excellent comeback, and I really like the soundtrack as well! It was the toughest decision ever for me as compo orga to not put this among the last two entries shown...
I hope there'll be more stuff from you in the future!

What tripper and elfan said.
After all those years just this? Boring fly-by with totally iunrelated music? Oh, come on guys. Put those Skarla legend aside and nothing left. Just a piggy for an effort (should be thumb down for massive boredom factor).
the soundtrack is not my taste, but skarla is massive!
This is the production I first checked after returning home to my computer due to high expectations. First signs of this comeback were visible about 5 years ago, so I have been waiting for it for a very long time and was pleased to see how well it all turned out. Apart from the overall quality I especially like the falling objects scene.
Regarding the music and direction, I think using "massive" so often in the song was maybe not such a good idea. I reckon it might have accelerated a downwards spiral in people's mind when they don't actually find it so massive and can't follow the enthusiasm of the creators as it speaks through their creation? Anyway, please don't let this stop you. I am looking forward to your next release.

Well done.
Looks awesome! Sounds not that awesome...
1st place for me. Like the soundtrack and coding, not fond of the textures...
THIS IS MASSIVE ... crap.
Possibly makes this comment sound worse, than it's intended, but found this incredibly boring and terribly directed

Just watched it on my A4060 and the speed is really impressive, very nice code indeed. And while I still don't really like the vocals in the song I find them less annyong the more often I watch the demo. ;) Still, a version without vocals would be very cool. :) Also, since a final is planned anyway, please add some LoadView(0) and WaitTOF() to your startup code so the demo can be started from RTG screens. ;)
Anyway, really impressive code! Here's one more [img]http://pouet.net/gfx/rulez.gif for you.

argh, thumbz0r failz0r :( here you have it:
Good stuff! I even liked the vocals!
Excellent demo.
wow, skarla is BACK !111
oldskool rulez !
(but indoor mipmap textures will be acceptable nowdays :)

Nice to see an oldskool group coming back to to show a production. The demo itself was very nice, got quite some nice effects. The pace felt great and made the demo fine. Perhaps the music could have been different, but hey that's better than to have an old murkish song bashing the ears :)
Great to see you guys back.
Great to see you guys back.
Yep a pretty massive demo!
SKARLA IS MASSIVE
AND DESERVES A THUMB
Thumbs up for the comeback & the code.
The music ruins it.
The music ruins it.
Hmm.....that tune. The visuals were okay.
Cool demo, but the music is just fucking awful and completely destroys the experience. After muting it the demo became okay again.
Hmmh, really impressive code, but I didn't like the visuals and the music wasn't that good either. But we got greets, so thumbs up :)
Very nice fx and daring music! (which could have been better, but screw it!)
Great demo, especially impressive speedwise - as for the music, it's more the production than the vocals I had a problem with, but it didn't ruin the demo for me.
comeback with some new routines and sharp 68060 stuffs...
An exellent production. Really cool soundtrack!
Excellent show! My favourite part is the ball with the light inside - awesome. I must admit I also dig the soundtrack and the vocals, especially in the first part. (If I was nit-picking I would point out a tad bit tracker-sounding drums and synth guity.) And btw - I consider the intro and shouting "Massive" as a sort of self-irony rather than megalomania and like it too.
stylish
Skarla isn't PASSIVE anymore ;)
...keep it UP.
...keep it UP.
cool!
Still the best 3D on Amiga. Massive indeed!
great one!
Not bad. I like the subway and the final scene most, the rest seems a bit random.
i hate SINGING! STOP IT ALREADY!
also: STOP BASSISM!
for real: music suxx as long as singing interferes, demo rulez!
also: STOP BASSISM!

duh...
the music and visuals doesn't fit very well together and it's a bit too much of a flyby imo, but massive, definitely.
SKKAAAAAARRLLAAA!
SKKAAAAAARRLLAAA!
Quite good production - skarla is back. :)
3D scenes look great it this demo!
Massive work for this prod ! 680XX rulez ! Should have been 2nd.
Song.... people shaking their heads. But apart from that a really nice demo
Massive!
great demo but please release version without vocals.
-music +visuals
Frenchies on Amiga in 2011! Please do it again in 2012 :)
up for the impressive code, but everything else is pretty lame
woaow I missed this SKARLA prod !
Massive!!!! :D
Well maybe not so massive, but great anyway.
Nice one!
Great code, the vocals are kind of un-impressive though, not enough oomph in the delivery. And as much as I love how you can push 3D on a 50 MHz 060, all these modern Amiga demos seem so formulaic and in the end rather boring. But that goes for a lot of other groups rather than just Skarla.
great code -really- but the music and direction is MEH :|
Nice comeback! I look forward to more.
Cool :)
Great 3D!
Nice to see, polished, wonderful!
Very nice 3D, the music... well... the vocals are cheesy and it gives off this weird Japanese vibe, and well... BUNNIES! PHYSICS BUNNIES!
A few years later I still don't like the flow but I have probably watched this a dozen of times for the technical aspects.
So this definitely deserves a thumb up!
So this definitely deserves a thumb up!
still rulez
I do not know how I could forget to give the thumb up. In my opinion it was the most "complete" demo at Revision 2011. Great design, great code. Contrary to some critical voices, I also like the music for its originality. Would be great to see another cool Skarla demo at Revision 2016!
really didn't like the vocals, like a lot already said. nice flyby. nice graffiti letters.
Of course, it's Massive! :)
Watched this for change, trying to ignore the vocals as much as I could. There's actually a lot of really nice things in it and the rendering is incredibly smooth. I'll give it a rulez even though there's still no final.
First of all: No idea why my thumb is missing. I had only one 1260 then, maybe some issue my side at the time.
Obviously this is a solid prod, and a major release! Skarla is indeed massive :) But... we already know that, so no need to repeat it in our ears. :P

The soundtrack has so much cheese in it I could put it on my bread. Visually okay and has some nice scenes but only feels good at a 1.5x speed or faster.
I actually like the cheese music. Nice effects!
cheesy indeed but has some nice scenes.
nice
massive!
<3
Massive!!!!
Coding is perfect and gfx are nice (still loves tag logos) but the music is not punching enough for a massive demo. Sync with music is not really here and vocals are more here to mark some parts of the demo and it's not a song, then there is the music and the vocals, and it's the prob. And sometimes when the vocals comes is not really in sync with demo effects. But visually, the demo is great !
Great demo! You are massive, no need to repeat that :D
Massive half life vibes. Massive thumb :)
Massive!!!!
What Scicco wrote.
I really liked the cut ribbons or whatever in the beginning, and the falling bunnies. Kind of random stuff, but awesome nevertheless :)
The vocals were cheesier than I remembered, and the renderer less massive than I remembered, but I think there's room for these high-end 060 renderers, and it does a fairly good job at it.
