Completely not my cup of tea. HAM demos should be done on Amiga anyway.

Hehe.. that one rocked :D
Superb visuals/design and an outstanding soundtrack, as one would expect from these guys. The crowdpleasing retro Amiga references seemed tacked on and the wannabe pseudo-glenz cubes looked terrible. I was still very much entertained, good show :)
Feels kinda the same-old-same-old from CNCD+FLT co-op. Also, personally I dislike this "let's throw more and more movings things in every scene" - reminds me about this. Also: completely undecipherable logos. Technically it's good tho, so a piggy it is.
I fucking LOVED this. Great style, awesome flow, and just looks and sounds plain sexy :)
Unfortunately I can't seem to get this to recognize my NVidia GPU, only the integrated Intel one. Would love to see it realtime; any chance on a final that might address this issue?

Not sure if there was any relation to the HAM mode itself here, but I suppose it's nice to give a shout-out to the Amiga's anniversary.
Really nice demo and nice amiga references :)
So it IS possible to make a neschwool based Amiga tribute without whoring around on oldschool effects.
very nice :)
very nice :)
So coherent, so cool, and such a nice track !
how very cool!
very cool
My fav. Thanks.
The demo on its own merits is sleek and cool. The tribute to the Amiga is affectionate and genuine. A little cameo appearance from some actual HAM imagery would have made it perfect.
Nice
The concept is really nice and when looking into what's going on there are quite some neat things in here such as Linear Clamp Sampler, Particles with gravity, viscosity etc and both affectorEmitters.. Quite fresh stuff!
Good work from two big groups!

This is soooo cool. I'm blown away. Amazing design work. I probably have to watch it a couple of times to explore the amount of work and detail that went in there.
Nice music, cool visuals, but some parts really dragged on for too long without anything really seemingly happening.
stylish homage to amigaaaaaaaaaaahhh
Tight and stylish.
All class!
How are we supposed to compete with this :(
Insane everything. Dune i lub u.

Really nice.
masterpiece. thank you.
What pixtur and noby said, the visuals and tune <3
wooohooohooo, what a designish blast!! some scenes are dangerously approaching the quality of non realtime rendering :D
also I appreciate the hommage payed to Amiga (probably for the 30th years birthday) but as break already said and as myself a glenz vector appreciator, I'm afraid your glenz vector rendition was a little bit poor, but it's a minor detail ;)
ho and I'm very happy to listen a new tune from our beloved Lassi! <3

mo ... ments ... in love ... dune and trevor horn sipping tequila on crusoe island ... and the visuals are so damn classy ... 1001% democulture anno 2015, hitech fx and rendering, so much detail, I'm in love
has some nice scenes (especially the dead forest) but that's it. very boring show. overall (nice) style saves is from thumbs down.
Kool gfx as usual and really nice flow. Not much is going on, so it gets boring really fast. And the music isn't really my cup of tea..perhaps because I prefer coffee.
Perfection! The last scene alone is worth watching the whole demo.
I also like, there are not only effects, but also this very subtile idea of a story / scenario in the demo, without getting too explicit.

Winner of Asm 2015
I just spent a great moment… in love with this prod :)
Great work though the soundtrack isn't my cup of tea
Awesome visuals.
miam ! I Love the design
Amazing design, would love to see something with a bit of color though.
Elite..
Oh wow, this looks stunning. The graphics work here is so on point it's unbelievable.
Also, did I hear a slight Art of Noise reference? :)

Should've won, unbelievably awesome.
exceptionally stylish and well designed, i love the forest and city scenes.
It gets better with additional viewings. I didn't quite like it the first time I saw it, but it's actually very good, even without the similar-ish demos from the same group from the past. Should have been placed better.
Brilliant, and so much of it! Very VJ-ish sections.
pig
I want to make love to your postprocessing.
Stilish and solid, congratz!
Stylish!!
Great stuff. Maybe a bit more subtle than usual, but no less impressive.
Very slick production as expected from the CNCD+FLT combo. Music is awesome, love it. Unfortunate that this got beaten by a joke demo.
Insanely good and cool!
Hello Paula!
No interest
Bad Ambiance, coding ?????, poor effect, music sucks :(
Next fairlight please......

Perfectly captures that 96 CNCD vibe without being nostalgic. Great amount of ideas and details, so much design work. I want more! <3
Lovely, nice ambiance and interesting music. Slick design as is expected from these folks. There are lots of subtle things going on here and I think one should view this a couple of times to appreciate it fully. Love the name, and it seems that the authors are giving HAM the credit it deserves as, if I am not mistaken, there are references to HSV colour coding as HAM was intended and not RGB which kinda destroyed the usefulness of HAM hardware.
really nice stuff! the wobbly hair-bumpy-stuff organic thing in the beginning is cheated with a video i hope? :P
Insane soundtrack, top notch stuff. Thanx for an experience!
Awesome!
This is my personal favorite "big flt asm release" among all the great stuff i've seen for years. So well crafted, so solid and not tying to appeal to the everyone and so much content work put into this one.
Love. <3
Not sure what's wrong with the voting.
Guess if you've fallen into the #1 asm democompo gotcha - DON'T DO LOWKEY STUFF.

Amazing ambiance, there's so much details here.
not for me sorry
killer track by dune!
Wonderful!
stylish as hell (as usual) but the monochromatic ambience left me a tad bored
Best in show for Graphics Designers. Added bonus: No mediocre guitar solos.
Had some nice moments, but I really abhor the abstract "amiga 30y" design in this. I'd really have preferred something that Rez would have designed if you really wanted to do a fusion of modern and amiga stuff. Or whatever this is, it just doesn't really come together for me at all.
Very good!
Not my cup of tea. At all.
Great style but... meh. I guess you gave us too much good stuff that we now always expect more... Oh fuck that, let's thumb this up anyway :D
Awesome as always guys! Hope to see you at assembly in the future too.
Easily my fave from the compo, style soaked in cool! Absolutely love it. Soundtrack is absolute killer, but I'd expect nothing less from Dune, seems like he's been to the Special Request album.
Actually there is a gripe, the ending takes forever!!
i put on my hipster robe and hat and cream my pants.
Great flow and design, great tune with Art of Noise reference, I guess.

much better than eat rave sleep and repeat or whatever
Yes, well done!
good flow

Found this rather boring tbh.
Quite nice.
I don´t get reference of celebtating Amiga stuff with typical PC design like old Orange and Retro AC demos....
design is good, sound is not my cup of tea and never was

Good job (I respect and appreciate the effort) but No.
Competent as always but what's with all the Amiga namedropping?
Whoever is the 'marketing director' has been seriously fucking shit up lately. At least this one has no dancing in it.

Exceptional soundtrack.
Hello Agnus. Paula and Denise!
very interesting and enjoyable demo
Closer and Inside an Amiga you can get on a pc my DeAr Destop ;)
Not my cup of tea, but still thumbs for the effort.
This is pure style.
Can someone make a proper capture of this please?
(and oh boy that soundtrack...)
(and oh boy that soundtrack...)
Beautiful design and routines. Only thing bothering me was the lack of anything resembling the actual HAM video mode. :-)
Somebody get me a C#4 20 f00

Certainly not a crowd pleaser, so hats off for not taking the easy way.
Very solid style, but didn't work for me (matter of taste).

Super nice visuals. Very stylish. The music is just a little bit uneventful.
Excellent! I love this! Retro-futurism finally revived !

Rulez, generally. Tons of style, perfect rendering, awesome tune, as always.
But all along I was wondering.. why isn't this running on an actual Amiga?
And why the dude with the gun, really? it doesn't fit the theme or atmosphere.

stylish and very good demo!
stylish and coherent with some nice visuals details. and i love it, when dune shows his jazzy side.
Lovely style!
wonderful, solid and coherent.
Good God that's some slick shit right there!
Maybe not exactly my style, but I totally dig "hello" part. Overall, really well made, plenty of cool animated details.
Wow, great b&w style!
It's OK.
Interresting retro-grayish concept, great music. Part of this music reminds me of Art-of-noise. In fact, the whole demo could be an official video clip for "moment in love" (this clip is grayish too).
Amiga love :)
I love the soundtrack btw!
I love the soundtrack btw!
way too artistic for my tastes...
not bad, especially the soundtrack...
...but for me a demo needs effects! ;)
well, i am maybe just TOO oldskool to get it! ;)

There are probably more "effects" going on here than your average "oldskool" demo...
Is there a reason why this demo takes upward of 3GB or RAM and repeatedly tried to rape my GFX card 2GB VRAM to the max too? What I saw and heard was OK, but did not look like or sound like 5GB+ worth of data.
oh shit, i'm in love ♥
Great visuals, totally hypnotized me. Audio very helpfull in this way.
my compo #1 - as usual very very stylish!
amazingly well done! particularly those first few scenes with the credits. Also love the subtle video use. Te-2rb meets Cncd Killer on an old black and white television?
Graphics are very nice technically.
Music is hm. The strings do not fit to the drums. The musical arrangement doesn't follow a red line. The tones of the drums all feel off-key. Weird.
The topic of the demo is weird too: I see Colossus 2A source code, chip names and a famous graphics mode of the Amiga.
I really don't know if there's any marketing behind, the demo just feels odd. Piggie.

better capture here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOiFWSHPFrk
i got a bad earworm from the first few bars
I like this blippety style. Thought it was funny that a demo named after the mode with all the colors (and fringes) is mainly achromatic.
Whoaa.. this totally blew me away. Watched it three times in a row now. It's so well crafted and all the little details to see there. Especiall the city scene had a great cyberpunkish vibe.
And the music fits perfectly.
And the music fits perfectly.
They totally recycled the glenz from The Ink Test. So lazy! ;)
(It's great. Watched it about 5 times since release.)

Obviously a lot of effort went in to this. It wasn't all completely my thing, but definitely well done, coherent, and visually distinctive.
Somehow it left me cold the first time I saw it on the stream. Now I've watched it again a couple of times, and suddenly like it a lot!
Lots to see and discover here, great visuals, and very fitting soundtrack with lots of small, fitting details. Only the ending is weak IMHO, not really providing a closure, like you ran out of ideas.
But overall it's ace!

style bomb
This seems like an unusual FLT+CNCD demo to me. I'm left a little cold by it, so piggie.
well done
my personal favorite from this competition. It's really hard for me to criticize anything in it ;)
what pixtur said.
What Insectecutor said
I love the text in/out-fade effect, the overall style and that music!

meh
Soundtrack is off the hook. Sequencing is sweet. So. Stylish.
Moral winner of ASM15: great visuals, calm soundtrack and it's fresh!
@__sam__ Oh, so THAT was the track what I had in my head during the demo!

I rarely watch a pc demo more than once.
But this one is too awesome to resist!
But this one is too awesome to resist!
It's okay, but I don't understand why that logo screen with that HAM logo on it takes so much computation power.
I wasn't sure at first, but the style is so well and consistently executed that by the end the thumb was locked in :)
Nice rendering, lots of details, nice track.
A damn fine piece of retrofuturism!
Lovely visuals, minimalist but with a great attention to detail. Music is alright albeit not my cup of beats.

worn out by retro style, carried by well chosen refenrences in music

Very good.
The design is pretty subtle and it took me a while to appreciate it. Now I quite like it. The only thing that grinds my gears are the Amiga references but they were done with good taste so it isn't that bad. The music is interesting, even though I think I missed those references mentioned in an earlier comment.

Good visuals with good sound effects.
I love it when you guys do something more than a Smash tech demo -- which is good in its own right, but hot damn, this! So much in here, such style, so mostly coherent, that overarching theme, and the music's the icing on the cake <3
Stylistically flawless. I think those who end up bored with this demo have become all-too-accustomed to smash being a groundbreaking graphics wizard, so this might seem like a step back. I think, at least in terms of graphical design, this is definitely a step forward, so do more stuff like this please!
(Btw, nice to see I wasn't the only one catching a Moments in Love vibe from the soundtrack.)
(Btw, nice to see I wasn't the only one catching a Moments in Love vibe from the soundtrack.)
nice
First of all: grats on Meteoriks! :)
Demo: I like Vitamin/Kraftwerk and Moments in Love/Art of Noise too, and I like the whatever-chips in the Amiga computer that you make sure to mention. This doesn't help the gray, gray, safe, safe, gray visuals and chill soundtrack stir emotion.
Motivational thumbdown to finally make an FLT release on Amiga, you skip between C64 and PC and always mention Amiga in your PC demos. So. Maybe an Amiga release on Revison tomorrow?? :) Hoping!!

Expressed differently: this demo was so coherent that no enjoyment could be had, it was my cup of antimatter tea, and - come to Amiga, open arms here :)
not my cup of tea :(
Fairlight
No.
nice demo, especially music. some scenes also were good.
So rich and detailed... always a pleasure to watch! Would love to see more of this.
rulez hard
state of the art
Excellent demo that I somehow missed
Tasteful.
Killer design!
Awesome music by Dune and I'm always a sucker for anything that is synced up to the music.
Damn I wish I could take back that thumb down.
Still don't get how Amiga is supposed to fit into any of it but it's a rock solid demo that gets better with repeated viewing.

iLKke: Amiga turned 30 years old that year and Assembly held an Amiga demo compo.
best thing they've ever done this generation, loads of little details on replay watches.
love the style
Mid-90s demostyle freshly remastered for the 2015s!
great style!
Slick and fresh with lovely homage to the Amiga, the first love of 70ies and 80ies boys <3
