Roxxxxx!!!!
Utterly massive demo... TBL strikes again... luckily :)
Great to see that fullscreen gfx still have their place in todays demos. Some great effects and masterful graphics. Especially the greetings part was insane! The music sounded to be really well executed although i wouldn't have mind something thematically different :)
Congratulations for taking the crown in the competition! See you next time.

Just A W E S O M E!!!!
AMIIIIIIIIGAAAAAA!
nice comeback
Brilliant. Too bad some rendering bugs give it away at moments (especially the ballerina, which is so well animated otherwise, and the rose), but some scenes are quite on the impressive side of the scale. The greetings part has some serious style.
Neat demo. Beautiful in every aspect.
Great effects. This time even a bit faster than in previous TBL demos.
The soundtrack is remarkably good.

TBL at the Revision 2014 prizegiving ceremony: "We're TBL and we're back!"
Amen for that! =)
Amen for that! =)
Utterly massive!
Massive.
Another great TBL prod ... unfortunately with ripped scenes again :\
Great comeback with nice Demo and great graphics!
love
brill demo, >especially< the soundtrack. which is awesome. <3
TBL + amiga. <3
I approve
Massive! What a wonderful comeback.
Nothing against ripping scenes/concepts when you can reproduce them on an Amiga AGA :)
Ah, and Blaizer... yes.
very nice!
"We are TBL and we are back!"
TBL is BACK :)
Liked everything except the landscape thing, it just felt so mediocre compared to the other scenes that were really nice. Great track as well.
I don't really know how to go through this except part by part. The blue cube is nice, though a bit "low-fidelity". Credits are neat, I'd compliment on the idea but it's lifted. They would've also been more interesting if it wasn't just series of pictures. Rotating model... impressive but not interesting. Same goes with the fractal, impressive but it doesn't look good. The window smashing doesn't look very good either. The landscape seems to have a pretty high quality texture, but the the geometry is way too lowpoly and looks like a complete filler. Greets are cool, very even and good looking visually. The danver is alright, I like the animation, but the scene around it is just odd for the context. Also the z-fighting is preeeetty bad. The flower is just ok, I don't like the ground texture. The track is a good one, though the mix seems a bit messy, gotta wait for a higher quality version. I found it lacking a lot of the qualities I adore in TBL demos: cohesion (both inter-scene and with the music), drive and a superb sense of design. It certainly isn't bad, but I need to see this a few more times to make up my mind.
The apes are back in town.
nice
Obvious winner and has some really nice stuff ( + trademark oomph!) but it feels even more unfinished than usual. If this had been 10-12 years ago danes and poles would have been queuing up to re-implement some of the parts in "more technically polished but much less bombastic" ways. ;)
All in all this is most likely the best 060-release we'll see this year, even after the "omgomgomg they're back!"-factor wears off.

Rocks.
Nice work!
Ok I saw it in much better quality now, have your thumb!
Runs smooth as F on my Amiga :) And yeah, Z glitches but I understand it was a fight to the finish so rest up after the big one! And then make a final version with the as usual excellent TBL quality \o/
Definitely rocks.
Massive !
excellent ! rocks !
glitchy
Enjoyed the greetings part and the soundtrack, otherwise a mixed bag. Some good looking stuff with some plain fugly parts and sadly the usual blatant content ripping. Piggie it is.
The best from the party this year.
Sharp visuals and design and that Amiga tech we all love. Massive soundtrack too!
Brings the hidden alive
Some good parts, some less so. Felt kinda soulless and rushed :/
Excellent.
An outstanding sublime demoshow
Yes!
just excellent
Great!!!!
Almost so cool as with Louie:)
Blockbuster soundtrack by Blaizer and some good scenes here. Keep on!

Amiga feeling once again !!!! Excellent !
Massive.
Brilliant. Amiga RULEZ!
I. LOVE. IT!!! So good to have TBL back! \o/
Some very good scenes surrounded by too much filler.
Impressive
IMHO: "ripping" is a pretty harsh term being thrown around here. Clearly some parts were heavily inspired by existing works, and those inspirations turned into recreations, but recreating and reinterpreting something isn't the same as ripping, especially not in the demoscene sense.
As far as the demo goes it was pretty good and a natural winner, but lacked some of the polish and detailing I've come to expect from TBL. That said, it's a damn massive and solid demo.

Nice Comeback...
One 💙 Love
What Zavie said, so looking forward to a final version. :) The scene with the lightning in the background was marvellous. Wonderful rendering there.
Welcome back, TBL!
Welcome back, TBL!
Awesome.
bomb
The Greetings !!!
COMPO MURDERER :D :D :D. Not very polished and we've seen the formula in previous prods as well as quite a number of those effects, but I don't care. This is amazing :). Tremendous work! I hope that this is a comeback that last :).
Great to see you back on stage, gentlemen! Massive stuff, but overall not as well designed and good looking as in some of your other demos. Also I have to say that the music is some truely bombastic piece of sound, but sounds a bit too monotonous. Seems that my expectations for a genius like Blaizer are too much.
Now I need that extra FastRAM...
Fucking splendid.
Looks damn good and runs very smooth on a 50MHz 060. Only downsides are the ballet dancer (it's hand animated which is probably hard work, but it doesn't look very good) and numerous small glitches in nearly all 3D objects. Maybe this will be fixed in a final version (still waiting for the announced final of Starstruck).
Apparently Blaizer jumped on the Dubstep train now. His tune sounds quite good, but I prefer his earlier soundtracks.

O_o--b
RONKESTOFF!!!
A bit overrated or namevoted I think, there some recycled scenes (girl dancing from Ocean Machine or "what was that" TBL demo) and some glitches. Lack of coherency between scenes and more design.
As far as I love Olof Gustafsson themes, I must admit, that Blaizer can do far better music than cheap wubwubwub.
After outstanding and legendary Starstruck I was expected more. (I know expectations always suck)

Felt rushed but I enjoyed it.
Ah, so nice that you are back! There's a lot of nice inspirations there. It's good to subscribe vimeo's stuff picks :). Probably you also use the agisoft scanning technique like shown here: http://vimeo.com/87460613. That's good :). Except for the terrain filler ( again ;) ) everything is so nice. I loved the raymarching parts and the music. Cheers! It's time for us to get out of the hole :).
Doesn't seem to follow any specific direction but still a treat!
I will wait the final version for my thumb-up, as it is it now there are quite many visual and consistency issues that makes it not as enjoyable as it could have been :)
TBL is back!
Additional note: the animated skybox lightning (an assumption on my part, feel free to correct) was a damn fine idea!
Good to have TBL back.
TBL once again. Had high expectations, this was even better.
AWEsome, thx god for creating TBL !
Great demo! as always from TBL!
fucking awesome!
expecting a final with falcon support now =)
Great design, but the 50 MB size is definitely too much
Loved the voxels especially!
A TBL demo, front and center: Female characters (bonus, if dancing)? Check. Mountainscape? Check. Impressive 3d? Check. Overbearing soundtrack? You bet. Extensive greetings part and "borrowed" ideas? Absolutely. Disjointed scenes? Sure, why not. Clipping polygons everywhere? Err... what's up with that?! ;)
Nice to have TBL back.
looking forward to the final version! without the sorting issues this would be superb (don't get me wrong. it _IS_ awesome with them as well.)
And whats more important! Welcome back. I have missed your demos!
And whats more important! Welcome back. I have missed your demos!
The recent TBL demos all look the same to me. Why not make something... different next time? Even though most of the stuff looks quite okay, it feels a bit boring, since I saw it countless times already. And I am not a coder, mind you, so I don't know if there is any new technical prowess here.
Only the statue looks quite super detailed and awesome to me. The lightning in the background also made for a very simple, yet effective... effect. The flyby landscapes - even though with great textures - are a bit boring by now. :I

Awesome greetings part.
pleasant surprise. not the best tbl prod though, and at times I found the wub-wub annoying.
Well, the dust has landed and after those countless times I've been watching this production again and again, I still think it's a brilliant demo! :)
Ok, I've always been a Amiga man, but still, this demo kicks ass. It's unpolished, yes, but somehow I like the "raw" feeling it has. Even if it feels like Starstruck V2.
If you take a closer look to all the effects, you can clearly see they didn't invent the wheel again; it has many similarities with their previous production. There's dancing woman, a landscaspe flight, breaking glass etc. But there are also couple of new effects. And don't really care if they borrowed some ideas from Vimeo. For me it's good to see, that they can reproduce those videoeffects using good old Amiga ;)
But like I said, the somehow raw and unpolished feeling, together with one of the best demo soundtracks ever, makes this production so special to me and it's also one of the best comeback productions for a long time what I've seen!. I almost dropped a tear when I saw this from the partystream when it was shown.. ;) So much I have had hopes for TBL to return someday and when I saw the text "So we meet again.." before the demo started, it was like seeing an good old friend again after so many years :)
It's good to have TBL back. And hopefully we'll see more stuff soon!

rocks!
Awesome! For me the best what I see this year.
I love the greetings sceene.
Some little visual artefacts with girl + rose but overall - fantastic! Loved the exploding windows.
wow !! you back:)))
A great prod, sexy sparse voxels and the fat chick's hair i really liked the detail on. The Elude prod edges it for me though.
TBL <3
Even if it's not as great as older TBL demos it's nice to see them back. I mean, I have seen a more immersive and good looking landscape from TBL before, some other scenes were not so great, but there are few nice touches at least, breaking windows, precalced gloss reflection on image, that fractal think and very kick ass music.
Brutal.
Such a joy to see TBL back.
Such a joy to see TBL back.
Not my favorite from TBL but still awesome
TB effing L!
Good show!
Woho!
Super very good show.
awesome, fluid. amazing animation work, too, the movement of that dancer was ridic well done. don't even mind the triangle sorting breaking sometimes, but deffers even better if you get them sorted for a final.
Nice stuff!
On point!
Loved every part of it
Nice, but a little unpolished.
a thousand times "yes"
It's a very cool demo. I especially like the graffiti scene.
excellent
Fucking awesome TBL is back and kicking swedish amigascene ftw :)
It does not work on A1200 with ACA 1220. Should it work? What are minimum requirements?
awesome
awesome !
Ok, now I can see why it do not work on A1200 with ACA 1220 :) It needs more power than I though :D

Plus one from me.
ruled!
Under pressure production - very big expectations. Not even close to Starstruck but I like it (greetings part, especially). Welcome back TBL.
Demoscene's favourite one trick pony is back :) Not even close to Starstruck, but still a quality release. Should be named "Recycled Leftovers" though :)
BÄM!
It's really great to see TBL is finally back. But honestly spoken, I have seen better productions from them.
Soundtrack by Blaizer is massive and nice graphics/design as usual but the sorting/clipping bugs really spoil the demo for me. I'll wait for the final to make up my mind, so far: nice demo but could've been better.
Liked it. The credits are cool!
Awesome...worked well on the bigscreen.... \o/ TBL is back..
Some screens are really awesome, the greetings part is so beautiful! Fix the sorting bug and it will be another perfect Tbl demo!
Awesome track, beautiful graphics.
√ Having a TBL demo released at your own party

Impressive!
very impressive!
some nice scenes but overall boring code pr0n.
Some nice scenes and overall code porn.
TBL.
Impressive comeback!
Welcome Back! :-)
the initial cube scene and the dancer looked too unfinished and glitchy, but the rest fits together pretty nicely (incl. obvious code pr0n comment).
TBL's comeback was like a cherry on top of the Revision cake
Ripped scenes / lack of credit.
It's amazing how TBL can always mesmerize you happily....
Massive sound, massive framerate. Good codework, emoon!
Good stuff, sphere-fractal, music and (plagiarized) scenes were awesome!
I must admit that the z-fighting polygons made me cringe during the presentation.
Still, there's some really cool stuff here, it's running wauy faster than usual, and in a bigger part of the screen.
Biggest complaint? The music asks for SO MUCH more action on the screen!!!
I welcome you back - now stay! :)

TLB is back with a massive demo. I dream of a port onto Falcon060.
finally :)
nice
Thumbs up for sure, but expected more... felt too rushed and unpolished.
epic!! makes me wanna try to do something on aga, :)))
This is excellent stuff of course, but somehow I liked "starstruck" much more. I think it's mostly because of the soundtrack which I find a bit too industrial for my liking. Still ruled the bigscreen and the compo! Congrats :)
Cool
Great demo!
AWESOME!!! congrats!
Extremely kewl soundtrack! But I'll wait for the final and hope lot will be fixed by then:
• polygon sorting
• 2nd fractal totally bypass the potential of the soundtrack, flash yes?
• Overall better direction/cams - generally very static cam. Especially in the opening scene with the blue box.
• that landscape - are we talking 16 colors here? ...and again, cam is really bad. Sky looks ... blue :)
• Credits - way too slow.
• The end scene with the rose doesn't make much sense - as in, nothing really happens?!
• Really cool greetings, but way too static - zoom in on those greetings or something!
A part from the above nitpicking, this demo is a really fresh come back and comes with really cool ideas. Keep em' coming!
Og SKÅL!

In that frame rate the credits could be realtime of course but my guess is that a designer animated and composited it in after effects and you ended up just having it as an image sequence. Which I think is not a crime :) It would have required a ton of bespoke code to achieve in that quality.
The rest of the demo is great despite being a bit of a mess at times. Obviously some parts like the landscape are just filler. I guess the z fighting was a bug which I hope can be fixed.
I think the overall frame rate had improved from previous TBL demos which was nice.

yay, TBL <3
Not bad, but I wasn't crazy about its tune.
Always a treat to get a new TBL demo, and this one doesn't dissapoint again, love the greetings scene, and the music is packing a punch as well!
what Zavie said
Impressive!
is it possible to share gfx from this demo? Black dress girl
Not bad for Amiga. ;) No, it's damn fantastic. A few Z-Axis bugs too much @compo, but what the hell. This worked so welll.
you are TBL, and you are back.
Agnus, Paula, Denise and TBL : Thank you for one of the best demo ever.
ok, this is good.
but.
1) raytracing on amiga is a pretty brave behaviour in general
2) making a skirt out of 3 polygons is again kind of brave
3) commiting a fucking texture loop bug (in the landscape) is something i would shaming myself over when i was fucking 15 years old, did you ever code a fucking texture code?!?!
4) making the winner demo, with the last closing cathartic moment having so stupid rendering moment that even my musician's child's pet cat can code better, now that's exceptionally fucking brave

Soon, we're going to add this demo to the Black Lotus Demography Compilation:

After jumping through several hoops to get the required RAM free I had a blast with the enjoyable framerate overall.
Again the inspiration got a little too close for the credits in my personal viewpoint. The Rubens'ish statue I was staring at in utter disbelief regarding detail and speed, gorgeous.
Total kudos for getting busy again on the real thang after so many years.
Now I hope for a final version in due time that fixes the nasty z-sorting, the landscape-seam and some polishing of the chrome (say, lighting in the fractals would look awesome).

Amiga 060/aga rulez revision 2014!! gratz for the your work!
awesome demo with a massive soundtrack
Awesome demo.
awesome entertainment.. it's been a while since I've seen a great demo.
I had to bump the stacksize to 20000 for my system, as the default 10k wasn't enough.
Looking forward to see the fixed version!

that's the spirit!
super!
the track is so massive, it dropped your mom <3
It was an honor to finally handle a TBL demo in the compo as an organizer. I loved the stuff, lets hope you are back to stay. :)
Insane !
Awwwwwwsome.
Very entertaining, tasty. Thanks.
Great skeezing of the Amiga. The z fighting / sorting is too distracting sometimes and WTF is that mountain doing there?
Sooo damn good to know having you back! :)
The whole thing is bombastic...very well done once again!
Either you bought the unlimited detail technology or, to stay real, you coded your voxel-engine to perfection! Looks way to good for Amiga, even 060...simply awesome!
Music fits perfectly, maybe the visuals arent always on par with what the music implies, but is absolutely ok as is!
EAT THIS, PC! :p
AMIIIIIGAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!!

great scenes and massive graphics, but a bit incoherent
looks good but lacks soul. and i don't like the music at all. piggie.
Not as coherent as some previous TBL-demos, and the sorting bugs in some of the 3D-scenes were really annoying. But still, a great demo.
So uh, in hindsight, was the 16Bit remix of Machine Gun in the briefing for the soundtrack?
Massive. Great soundtrack.
awesome
great stuff even i don't like some parts of the music
Fantastic demo and a well deserved thumb up. But I wish people would make demos for stock Amigas instead. Limited machines should be limited. And the demos should be possible to view for everybody with an Amiga (AGA or ECS (if ECS)), without having to buy expensive (and hard to find?) upgrades. Might as well make a soft rendered demo for an old P1. My 2c only ;). But the demo by itself is a beauty!
Very nice demo, have no idea how that "raymarching" is but, unusually, its the music that does not work. Too much "FX" too much time.
I like!
A few screens have that "haven't i seen this before in some other TBL demo" tag, but still it's a terrific demo - Apparently TBL has set standards they're now being measured against themselves ;-)
A nice final version! There has been some improvements with the clipping issues, some new sync effects and rain effect in the credits part. And of course some other polishing here and there! Me like! :)
@emoon
Second thumb up!!! Now, both are up!! Thanks a lot for the effort.
Second thumb up!!! Now, both are up!! Thanks a lot for the effort.
:) me likes
Thanks for the final guys, this is soooo much more enjoyable (for me at least) now, amazing what difference "a few" bug fixes make. Great demo, here's the well deserved thumb! :)
Looks great, sounds good, great stuff. Love it <3
Respect for the final version. Well deserved thumb up. Excellent Amiga demo. Great graphics/code/scenes and excellent color palettes. Good work.
Imagine second thumb here for the final. :)
I was waiting for the final and here is deserved thumb. Scenes are perfect now except the strange mountains. Anyway I still like the 2nd place a little bit more ;o)
Even better as the party version... no glitches anymore, greatest respect for that one, you TBL guys are true Demoscene magicians :)
kinda lost bout the direction, but this is great still.
Great to see TBL back. Some scenes are terrific, some maybe a bit more average (at least with TBL standards). But all in all an enjoyable experience.
awesome demo
awesome
Great demo, but i don't like the scratches in music. Welcome back !!!
Wow! It was so awesome! :O

One great Amiga prod! :)
Forgotten thumb
What twh said but... that music and art...
Wow. And nice fouette.
Hell yeah, incredible music too.
phew. just amazing. hopefully you guys wont leave it so long next time.
TBL!
Excellent, despite the overly wubby music.
Oh my god, wow. That was seriously too good to be true.
Those ripped scenes though, that was extra uncool. I'll probably never understand how an otherwise amazing prod would require lifting imagery from existing work almost frame by frame (surely there's a difference between this and a homage. Glitch by kewlers is an example of a homage). Weren't the best scenes either in my opinion.

I've known this was coming for a little while (even before it was shown at Sillyventure 2014) but nice to see it out in the wild. Thanks for doing this one for us Kalms!
Shame I've only one thumb to give. Ah well, let's see you again sometime soon TBL.
Now available on your favourite platform : ATARI ! :) if someone had told me 2 decades ago that Amiga demos would have a second life on Atari :)
Really nice demo, the music is well suited with gfx. Pouet admin: could you add a "aga 60" platform? At first I though it runs on a standard 1200! (ouch!)
rulez!
Awesome!!! Anyone got a video-file on the final version online?
Have just seen this cool demo on Falcon!
Thanks! <3
Thanks! <3
Impressive ! Good too see such an 'amiga styled' demo on Falcon.
Atari port should have required a lot of work, coding, tools, ...
Thanks for this great work !! :)

Thanks for this great work !! :)
I love this demo! Great work! Especially the soundtrack. Thanks a lot! Btw, I wonder if there is a soundtrack "source code" available anywhere. Is it a mod/xm file or was it prepared as a generic mp3 recording?
TBL? Demo? Whoooooah.
TBL roxxoring
Time for my thumb up emoon and kalms! It was about time..
Now.. can you... guys.. go for one more easter round some day? ;)
Now.. can you... guys.. go for one more easter round some day? ;)
Very impressive to watch for an oldskool person like I am. Love the tune and the greetings part is really my cup of tea. Love it!
I definitely say that it is a Demo of the Year. And one of the best TBL demos so far. It's. Just. I don't know. Nuke blast.
AND WHAT A SOUNDTRACK!
Instant cdc, and if i could, i'd give it billion cdcs.

Thanks
Massive.
i like the ballet dancer, you guys have some weirdo addiction to women itseems.. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
Jävligt häftigt. Best of TBL?
Thanks for making me drool over 1260.
High-Quality 3D.
Nice mix of styles
Fucking awesome!
Proof, if proof were needed, that '060 Amigas can do anything the PC does, only chunkier. ;)
TBL <3
And i love this demo more than starstruck. The greetings part are amazing.
And i love this demo more than starstruck. The greetings part are amazing.
This probably isn't my favourite TBL demo. I really miss earlier multilayered text-heavy designs. However, the ripped/recreated/whatever-you-like scenes, i.e. the credits, the subway greets, as well as the amazing statue and the flower in a wasteland matched to a silhouette photo, they all pack so much gravity, that it would be insane to give it anything below thumbs up. Seeing scenes of this quality on the 1990s computer is unbelievable.
great

Mind blowing demo. All TBL demos I've seen are amazing pieces of art which deserve praise.
Truly awesome!
Hey, what is the kickstart version required to run this demo on an Amiga 1200 with Vampire accelerator? Most of the time I'm getting:

Error: 7: sysLoadImage: Unable to decode TGA from stream Data/00_Loading/loading.tga
Error: 8: Unable to load loading.tga
