Plenty of effort there, but I guess outsourcing programming to a graphician by giving them a tool isn't, after all, the way to go. Quite simple flyby parts linked together.
Strange style but great overall.

I really don't like the subtractive blending or the textures, and it really lacked some dynamic lighting and shadowing. I didn't enjoy it.

Apparently a 4+ years old project, but it's a nice surprise to have another "proper" fr demo at long last. I only dislike the ending, which feels like a throwback to the "distorted females and tacky 3d everywhere" type of Visualice things from 10 years ago.

although some models/textures look too old and lowres (which somehow seems to be the case with most visualice demos made with wz) i find the atmosphere in this to be very intense.
kudos also to melwyn and LB for delivering a really nice and fitting soundtrack.
deserved top 3 placement here, probably the asm2k14 release i will rewatch the most.

Very strange one, has some nice artwork inside, but overall a bit too messy as a whole... Soundtrack is great, weak thumb up

We were expecting powerful Farbrausch tech demo, but got visu-rausch style, but I did remember to like the feeling of this.

Everything looks like smudgy gray/blue/brownish s**t with 50 layers, and the setup is basically a flyby. Music is solid, but didn't really do anything for me in this context. Overall not my thing at all.

I thought the first 30 seconds or so had the feeling of a intro to a Hollywood blockbuster. Very atmospheric and building up the tension for the rest of the movie.

Looks like old computer game intro with some postprocessing applied. Some scene parts instantly appear\disappear and it looks annoying. But overall feeling is nice.
I like the music a lot, the guitars sound great. The demo itself somehow rides along a wave of inconsistency, some parts are lovely, other parts are messy with loads of layers, but generally i like it.
Realy like it, but a little dark. Sounds like Massive Attack.

some nice models, cool track, not exactly my cup of tea with the direction or rendering.
The opening credits sequence is quite stellar. I love the typography and the scenes overall around there. The rest isn't very strong visually, and the music felt surprisingly uninspired though I wasn't put off by it. The purple flaring effect was a nice touch.

Nice to see Visualice and Melwyn (& LB) back again! I really liked the music, and the visuals were also pleasing. Good color range and direction. Maybe it comes off as a new take on an early 00's Haujobb demo but I'm okay with that.

To me, this is the second best demo of the show, and by a long mile. However,
I found myself enjoying only some parts, mostly technical - what the hell is that effect with the surrounding environment while the train moves? it looks like some sort of shitloads of layers with weird blending and it is fantastic!
Otherwise, the rendering/music/direction left me rather indifferent, and the ending was sudden. Maybe less would be more!?

a good demo... light and the uv on the 3d have always been the week point of all vizu prods ... this is no exception...
this train is straight from 2000, which is ok

The music is good and fits the visuals, which have a great dreamy quality. Should have placed higher especially comparing to other submissions in the compo...
I'm impressed by some of the visual effects. The music seems uninspired/boring. The guitar sound is nice, though!

Not a valid Win32 application, so no go on my anicent, updated Windows XP Pro SP3 machine. :P So, I had to watch its video capture. It was so so.
Meh. Felt like a FR demo from about five years ago. Lots of old ideas re-executed, with the industrial setting and big faces and so on. *Shrugs*
Great modelling and overall look. Feels coherent. I had a blast, riding that train.

Pretty cool effects with the terrains and the train tracks bending and moving at once independently... I don't know how to describe it. It's just... weird.
