your ascii file was fucked up, i changed it. you surely used the .asc version i gave you, saved it as .txt and renamed it to .nfo :) this file should be good, open it as a .txt, save it as a .txt, rename it to .nfo afterwards.

How silly. The nyancat was just a tiny fraction of the demo (and I recall the nyancat copycat prods getting more and more downthumbs after a while ;), it's rather the overall concept that makes this demo so pleasant to watch. The beginning was screaming for a cheesy "omg oldskool amiga" demo, but it turned to be a lot better after that.
Also, this doesn't seem to work properly on ATI, the background behind the sprites is not cleared properly here, and I noticed that the cube shading patterns not moving in sync with the arpeggios they did on the bigscreen (I think anni's capture has a similar problem there).

Really enjoyed this one. I'll take creativity over 1000 fps any day.
Now THAT was demo to remember. Always good to see new souls entering the scene with new ideas. Lycan's lovely pixels are simply sooooo great. Especially the faces. No need for frame rate, particles, 3d. This is French Realtime - excellent in a different way.

This production could've been done right, but the demo is way too crowd pleasing with its nyan cats and terrible TERRIBLE looking pixelart.
Synching is really nice(even though it seems to be a bit off), but it's not very original, we have even seen 4k's with a similar idea. And you have to bear in mind that the color sync is the mainstay of this production.
Equidistant shading is being used in the pixelart... I MEAN C'MON!!! equidistant shading is almost as bad as pillow shading. Actually the production seems to use also some pillow shading too. OUCH!! This kind of shading kills any depth from the characters and objects.
Please use more colors on the characters and objects next time, and if possible less gradient shading in the characters. By having more colors you don't need to use as much gradient shading. If you're still going to use gradient shading a lot please learn to pick better colors for you shading. You can get a lot better 8-bit feeling if you know how to master pixelart! Primitive effects but sharp design, good music, enjoyed it.
Liked this despite the lack of effects. The sweet design and proper pixel gfx put this ahead most wannabe retro prods.

To all the pouHATErs... Making a demo for a demoparty is not just for receiving votes, you know, but firstly for having fun and for the great feeling we all have when viewing our demos on the big screen.
This demo is maybe not the best of all on a technical side nor on a design side, but we can admit that it's a huge lot of work, for the sprites animations, and all the polishing there is in all the demo, the synchros etc... AND it's fun to watch.

Sure, it has no real effects, and I hate obvious crowd-pleasers that scream "vote for me while you are still drunk at the party place!" like the Nyan-cat, but apart from that it's a light-hearted and fun demo with a nice and fitting tune, and I'm a sucker for pixel art in demos. So thumb up!
