Some really good scenes like the cortex one, some less so (like the tunnel-ish bit at the start). Really nice rendering though, looks like many nice post process features giving it a cool film-like look. Like! And the tune fucking rules, especially the bassline near the start.

A bit incoherent at times and you can totally tell it's rushed (compared to normal Excess quality) but it was perfectly enjoyable. Also, the DOF and music kick serious amounts of ass :)

A bit empty but nice
the dubstep kicks and the pads are just my cup of tea. some great 3d-work with some nice darkish schemes. i like the style, but as for the ending-part it looks unpolished. overall its a thumb up!

I would've liked a bit more complex scenes and more scenes overall, but it's a very nice ride as it is. Especially liked the foggy appearance and the bokeh(ish?) blur in the last scene.
And I'm not a big fan of the soundtrack either, it's technically pretty good but lacks that final something :/

Tunnel could be much better, it is very grey and seems to have too much DOF, but anyway very good demo. Thumb up for sure ;o)
MASSIVE!
This was among the few productions I actually remember from saturday evening/night. It was really well performed. Have to agree a bit with t-zero on the synapse-part, though :-D And as always - Gloom: You're mastering is simply amazing. Fantastic distribution across frequencies throughout the entire track. Makes everything sound so crisp and neat! Very well done!
Talk about an anti-climax. Starts very promising, displays some neat effects, soothes with the amazingly synced neuro-transmitter scene.. and when you hear the scream and expect to be blown away, the demo gets reduced to a wet pile of fish droppings... such a pitty.. any chance we can get a final version with some proper content instead of the rushed tunnel?

The neurotransmitter scene is absolutely gorgeous! The smoke part is too dark, imho. You can barely see the smoke :/ Oh, and kickass music! :D

Great show guys! The sync is done with a good taste, needs a bit more action though :)
Oh, and as Punqtured referred to my last comment, so I refer to his - Gloom, your mastering is great. Mastering is a definite weak point for me (that's why I used to be a live-sound engineer, not a studio sound engineer ;) ) and so it's really instructive to hear very well mastered scene tracks.

The music was some great dubstep but I felt the visuals were building up to something a little more impressive than a tunnel with an effect that the latter half of of E - Departure did better.

Good, esp. the "gloomy" tune and the women crying out at 1:56. Pitty that the 30 seconds of "final tunnel" break the pace because there not much happening compared the all the happend before.

The best Excess demo I've seen so far, which, admittedly, isn't saying much, because it has the same problems most other Excess demos have: polished, well-produced, but boring and/or rushed content. Still, quite worthy of a thumb for the neuron scene alone!
