best pc demo of 2008!! fit prove they understand design. they simply excel far beyond their usual level. the music is great too. i didn't expect this. there are just so many great ideas in here.

This had a certain playfulness that appealed to me, and which made it enjoyable. Nice ideas, and nice use of the unorthodox "flat" 3d style. Also, kudos for the wide array of platforms this is available on, but then again Fit always delivers the goods in that department :) Nice soundtrack. I like!

I think this was a nice demo but as someone said the music was not that great. I loved the tune, I just did not like the thay it sounded like a bag of chips with no dynamics at all.

Nice flow and concept, but in my opinion, not that special in the end. Still, some ace scenes like the city and the archery range.

It's not software rendering. If you refer to the text output then it's 3D accelerated with GL.

Designwise it didn't deliver anything special. The demo itself was nice though. OSX port rulez.

Not really finished in design & composition, but having some social commentary does earn it points and the general style is nice. Jenny thinks is still the best Fit release for me. Not great, OK.

Reminds me of a time gone by, this is a much more traditional demo and I love it for that. Music is nice, multiport+source is a technical achievement for just one coder, also the text is written well.

Hmm, I couldn't get it to display anything. The music plays but there was no window showing up. And if I tried the with -text it just updated the terminal window like crazy with absolutely nothing.
Is it because I use Ubuntu x86-64? Though I think it would crash with an error message if that was the case.

With -text you need to specify the dimensions too. It opens a gl window and converts it to vt100 codes. Never tried on x86-64, but you need SDL+GL installed, probably the 32-bit versions. If all else fails run under Wine, the Windows version was developed with it :)
And yet another option is compiling from the source.
