  a) it's _way_ too slow
  b) it lacks any proper design
  c) the music isn't particularily good and the sync is close to non-existant in parts.
  
  So, overall, not a bad attempt, and I hope and believe the next one will be better :-)

• (One could of course argue setting the locale makes it _correct_ for sscanf() to search for "," instead of "." when scanning floats, but I don't like the behaviour still :-P)

• Bah, I forgot there was no source with this one. Oh well, you can still apply warp's workaround (which skips GTK+ altogether), unset your locale, or fix GTK+. :-P

• warp: Regarding the bug, it appears to be a gtk+ bug. If I don't set the locale, the problem goes away (I finally got ssh access on a machine with the problem :-) ). Try using the default locale (or remove the call to "gtk_set_locale" in main/linux-config/linux-config.cpp) -- anyhow, next Excess demo (ie. the one after Shapeshifter) will have fixed this problem ;-)
