- demo invitation Linux Windows VIP 2 by Popsy Team [web]
- It's as simple as this. 1) The french scene will defend any french production, no matter what. 2) The french scene doesn't care what's original or ripped, just the end product. 3) This is a french site. So, you figure out the 80% popularity rate. :) Trust me, if this weren't a french site or demo, things would be different. And don't forget, people arguing about also make it more popular!
Regarding the legality, well, the scene has never been very righteous about things (it all started from cracktros, remember?). But, we won't be able to include VIP2 (or State of Mind) on our DemoDVD, I'm sure.
Oh and btw, the music is not all that - pretty cheezy if you ask me. :) - isokadded on the 2001-04-11 17:36:22
- 64k Windows fr-08: .the .product by Farbrausch [web]
- Dammit, people, just be impressed by this intro and stop arguing about its artistic value, okay? :)

- demo Windows the lost frames by The Third Foundation [web]
- Cool acid-swing music and clean design, but like many demos these days, it's very short and unfinished.

- demo Commodore 64 Courtesy Of Soviet by Wrath Designs [web]
- Mostly a graphics collection (and good graphics they are, although several are just Vallejo rips) - but there are some effects like landscape/flower fractals.
For some odd reason this demo is hard to find these days.. but the download link has the 2 disk files. - isokadded on the 2001-04-07 03:32:16
- intro Commodore 64 Four Years by Origo Dreamline
- A one-part filled vector show, which uses the clever trick of changing pixel size when zooming in.
Don't confuse it with "4 Years" by Oxyron, which was released in 1996. :) - isokadded on the 2001-04-07 03:12:55
- intro Commodore 64 Kuppa by Extend
- The funny thing about this one is, it competed in the same compo as PC intros.. and still managed to get 3rd. (well, matter of taste, I guess :)

- demo Commodore 64 The Final Torture by Padua [web]
- This demo has been informally titled "Torture 5" ever since the release of "Torture 6". :)

- demo MS-Dos Downtown by Abyss [web]
- Abyss' first demo on the PC. Nothing amazing, just some small 3D scenes, "BBQ spit" landscape :), etc. but clean, catchy music and some nice gfx.

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Sequential by Andromeda [web]
- The last of the great A500/ECS oldies. Lots of simple vectors with complex physics, and several good pics in between. The mood of the music changes for each part. But, I'm afraid you can't compare this demo to Toasted, this "roller coaster" was just a chain of flat squares. :) But, a stereo sound effect plays during that part, leaving just 2 channels for the music! Mr. Man knew what he was doing.

- 64k MS-Dos Public demand by Purple [web]
- Nice "classic" (?) style intro from TG99, just before everyone went minimal-style in their intros.. Featured the cool "metatoruses" effect.
