could be i'm wrong, but if this really is 'nope' by k.l.f/ld/xgy then it wasn't released at the party 95 but at nexus 95...

You're wrong :). There was also a demo called Nope released at TP5 (like the CompSex one, it wasn't too great :).
this was my first real demo ;-) it features nice music på jazz/pm^scx.
