First, we want to say „Thank you“.
A lot has happened over the last 2,5 years. We as a community, many of us as party organizers, have worked to learn what makes us feel united when we are apart. Our experience with novoque and névoke has taught us many new things, with your eager participation teaching us that sometimes it’s more than worth to step outside the comfort zones and engage with new, „crazy“ ideas.
That being said… We’d rather deal with assembling unwieldy party tents and sleep-deprived party place teardowns than having to think of yet another name wordplay. It’s time for the real thing!
This is evoke, and we will give our best to continue the 20+ years of tradition and finally welcome back old and new friends this August.
The Details // What we know for sure
Evoke returns on the weekend of the 5th to 7th of August, 2022 in our beloved, well-infrastractured AbenteuerhallenKALK (or, in short, AHK) in Cologne, Germany. More information will also be found on this website later.
You can expect a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, quality competitions and liveacts that will tear shit down with tracks you didn’t even know were your favorite. As we’re still in the early stages of planning, more details on that will follow as soon as we figure them out!
We’re also a newcomer friendly demoparty (you can even get a trophy for being one!), so if you’ve discovered the scene during the pandemic and have been waiting for a sign to take „the next step“… This is it 🙂
The Disclaimer // This should be common sense, we’ll say it anyway
Due to The Situation™️ there are still a few uncertainties regarding the party, one of those being the restrictions and security concepts that will have to be enforced on site. We will announce those as soon as we know what they will be, but expect „common sense“ to play a role.
Fortunately, the current prognosis makes it look like a relatively safe bet to be able to organize a summer party in a legal and responsible way. However, we will, of course, keep an eye on the newest developments.
This thread is for hope, hype and updates. Don’t be an asshole.:)

Nice to hear, we will attend for sure in person there.
Might be a big ride as at the same day is the Makerfaire Hannover where we also hang out. but 3 years ago we did a similar thing. driving early the morning to Makerfaire and later on down to Cologne to celebrate the Evoke.
