Old coding site recommendations for backup
category: code [glöplog]
As these are starting to disappear, I'd love to get my hands on a bunch of the old sites I learned a lot from back in the day. I'm basically using HTTrack and wayback-machine-downloader to nab them while they're hot! So far I've grabbed flipcode and the personal sites of paul bourke and hugo elias. Got any others to spark my memory? :)
Basically any old demo-related site would be welcome as well

Hell, I'd even be interested in random game cheat codes from ~2000 just for nostalgia's sake :D
I hope you're planning some publicly accessible data capsule. If yes, put this in it!

After learning 3D from Finnish source code, I still remember all these words like objekti and vektori :D

some mirrors are available.
Maybe one of these days my site will appear on lists like this. Snif.
Link it yourself? :)
Apparently, I once paid 39.95 DM for a Games Programming CD-ROM, including the elusive "DirectX 2 SDK" and "450 MB of source code for games programmers!" :D (found it); Now, these kinds of things predate "old websites" I guess, but this thread was a good enough excuse to look for that particualar CD. ;)
