Awesome demo!
Nydelig!
A BASIC fader on Amiga? That alone deserves a thumb up! The rest isn't bad, either :)
This was awesome!
Excellent demo! Fantastic effects, lovely graphics and two killer tunes by Jogeir and Serpent. Best in the compo, no doubt!
Very good design and music. I don't understand if any other demo win the Rev2020 compo. Well done.
Awesome
I really love how Offence managed to carry the C64 Style and vibe over to the Amiga. The tune by Jogeir is really great as well!
Wow! Great effects and transitions. Spirit of C64 on Amiga, i loves this !!
Awesome nice demo by a Norweigan C64 group now on the Amiga
I especially love those graphics, awesome!
Very nice c64 vibes. And that twister scroll is yummie.
rulez on the stream, and nice oscillohead at the end
Nice.

great work
This blew me away <3
Awesome production! Keep on releasing stuff on the amiga (too) <3
Very good, deserves winning
I hope it win the compo!
Very fluid demo with fresh ideas, well designed and beautiful Jogeir Liljedahlish soundtrack. Yeah, and 2nd thumb up for amazing oscilloscope-head image and great transformation into fx!

Loads of really good stuff in here!
The overall design (and sountrack) is a bit too much 1992 for me, though. I'd rank it 2nd in the compo. :)

1st place... Congratulation Offence... Amazing work !!!
I really love this ECS/OCS demo !!!!

Deserved winner! superb :)
Best on the compo!!! Good worki!!
Great demo and great vibes. Nice to have you back on the 𝑨𝑴𝑰𝑮𝑨 after so many years!
Really nice production, one that will just grow and grow... It keeps going and keeps a really nice atmosphere ... OFFENCE RULEZ !!
Nicely done, especially the music!
more demos with bitmap effects pls
Great show! Filled to the brim with nice graphics and the effect transitions show some real love went into this. The people in profile effect was my fav
Awesome demo! Interesting effects, nice pace and sweet musics!
Fantastic demo with amazing transitions and great music. :) Will watch again and again.
This is an oldskool Amiga demo in a modern jacket with a C64 touch. Love it!
Neat effects and calm atmosphere.
That one really rocked :)
I like gfx - astronaut, "oscilloscopeman", cave. really cool
Great demo. I've always loved the C64 tradition of wiping away the start screen in a creative way. Now you did it on Amiga, and you did it with style! And kept that style throughout the demo.
Jogeir doing new demo music is amazing in itself. Also, the second piece of music has some distinct Project X Old Timer vibes. :)

Jogeir is amazing!
Awesome demo! So nice to see Offence win a party in 2020, oldskool beating the more newskool demos by loaderror and drareg. Must say I think it's especially interresting it look so much like Andromeda D.O.S since Offence lost many members to Andromeda back in 1991, the year before Andromeda D.O.S. was released. :)
Great to see famous names like Jogeir and famous coders like Perplex (coder of the legendary amiga diskmag R.A.W.) still releasing stuff in 2020! And the fact that parts of this was done in pascal with TRSE is just fantastic, since I code pascal every day (for work) ! :)

I knew it would be winner right after the end of amiga demos show :) Just look now the gap in votes!
From the very beginning till the end it is obvious the authors keep their C64 traditions and habits in every detail, and however it does not LOOK as a 'technical achievement', still it's more awesome than any other amiga demo in the compo.

This one made me very happy. Great work, OFF!
Definitly the winner :-)
I had a joyful flashback to the Andromeda D.O.S times. But after the start it got waaay different. Great fx and Gfx and MUSIC<3
Nice one!
Really good design with loads of nice ideas and memories to D.O.S. and other classics. Had shivers when finding out about Jogeir's new tune. Keep the tracks coming!
top notch! <3
Good stuff.
Cool stuff, some effects not my taste but all around very nice.
146% rules
really enjoyed it on the big screen!
Obligatory prod praising comment.
Yeah it‘s oldschoolish. Yeah it has Jogeir music.
But on the technical side I fail to see how this is an impressive demo. Not my number one from the compo.

Interesting blog post with the technical details of this production: https://everydog.home.blog/2020/04/13/chillobits-writeup/?fbclid=IwAR0oKO32qBtHFONWDvWkb0-28qHnsEUx_e8xHz9brh1Uj3S-mqkAUeqVJb8
Boring.
oldskool me beautiful
Overall i like it. Beginning is a little bit boring, as well as the end-part. But the middle-part with these great looking twisters and pics, make me like it. Therefore thumbs up from me.
Really nice stuff. And thanks for putting up the write-up - I really like seeing a high-level description of how stuff works which generates more ideas :)
Congratulations for winning the compo.
In case you use AllocMem to reserve the big chunks of ram... Would it be possible that you reserved "fast memory" using MEMF_ANY flag instead of MEMF_FAST? Exec will try to reserve FAST mem if it's available and if can't find any it will try to reserve CHIP. If you are using an A500 with 1MB chipmem or A500+ with 2MB of chipmem this could be quite useful to run your beautiful demo.
A final version that supports amigas with just chip memory would be great

The credits part with the faces is one of my favorite effects ever. Solid in many other ways too, and the music grooves.
The shapes of the faces made me remember "we are all connected"
1) very good!
2) easy to port to any 8bit machine

Smooth work.
The initial wire effect feels out of place, though. Too simple and raw.

outstanding. soundtrack catches me directly at the beginning. gfx sooo good, that the spiral effect even seemed inappropiate. many cool effects. top scrollers and a cute greetings crossword. very much soul pleasing =)
Nice. :)
My TOP3 from the whole CoronaVison2020 online party. Great gfx/design and code (love those twisters, credits and oscilloscope), nostaligic tunes (both great, but this Fullmoon \o/). It has a very high re-watch factor. And the AmigaDOS/BASIC (c64) fader was just overwhelming as an idea and very well executed - double thumb just for it!
A bit weak start but improves heavily.
Great demo, I love the non-standard effects!
C64 - now on Amiga :)
Really nice once. And great to listen to a new module by Jogeir in 2020 !... Link to the mod. file on AMP : http://amp.dascene.net/downmod.php?index=157391

the comments I am reading here are absolutely baffling - how can something that mainly is on the same technical level as 1990 (if even) be regarded as nearly being like the second coming of christ?
so a bunch of sorry ass line effects, scrollers, twisters etc. as seen a hundred times in the last 30 years on the same platform is "amazing, superb"? seriously?
it's like the latest releases by Lemon, Deadliners, TBL, etc. had never happened.

nice gfx and sexy twist0r. besides that i don't know.
Delightful!
Had some really nice graphics and the music wasn't too bad either, but other than that it felt extremely weak. Not something I'd rewatch any time soon
Oh! Love it!
very enjoyable
It very much felt like a C64 Offence demo but ported to the Amiga. It's not a poor piece of work at all but also doesn't bring much new to the table.
agh jogeir!
This is how to make oldschool impressive these days. Beautiful pixels. Nicely crafted effects. Scene with astronaut and twister just lovely. Since watching this demo put me into a pleasant nostalgic mood after my work I totally don't f'kng care about its "technical" side. Will burn it into my floppies and show it to my kids and grandkids until my Amiga boots up.
And it's so great to hear Jogeir in 2020 =)

Bow's for this legendary release..
Echoing britelite; kinda mediocre in every way, like something from prior to Hardwired, when barely anyone did anything well paced or consistently designed. Something is terribly when when I have to actually agree with spike of all people... very surprised to see this win.
Yeah, what others said, it's kinda slow paced like a C64 demo on A500, guess those times belong to the past for good. Also the downconverted pictures is not something, I'm a big fan of.
Not a great demo, but then it wasn't a particularly great Amiga compo all round... nothing here that made me think "I wonder how they did that?"
Very good and quite original.
The music is excellent.
The music is excellent.
What noby said. The BASIC fader (or, well, AmigaDOS…) is nice, and then it makes a huge buildup… into some B/W lines and bouncing 2D balls? I like the faces effect, too, but the rest is kinda meh.
It's not bad but has some parts with black backgrounds, dated looking effects and awful colours which might have looked cool in 1989. The rest is not overly exciting either.
It's ok. Nothing more nothing less.
Fantastic demo! <3
Forgot to thumb. Love this clean 2d stuff. No mystery, but very charming. And of course the serp and jogier tunas. :D
Okish
Simply great with a very good flow. Reminds me of Andromeda demos from the early nineties.
Good but not great
AGA fix or Whdload fix out there for this great prod ?
Agree with Britelite/Dan/Teo, but there's quite some work here. It's cute and I liked the XY scopes and blue twister. :)
For the credits and the twister
Love the C64 vibe in this <3
love it
Nice prod !
Crash on real Amiga 500 with ACA500plus expansion a few seconds after the beginning of the AmigaDOS fader.
ACA500plus must be completely disabled (= switched into debrick mode with a long press on the DISMO button of the expansion) to run this demo properly.

Thanks for the 90s trip guys! Really cool stuff right there! :)
Contrary to what I wrote previously, this demo works fine with ACA500plus expansion enabled. iComp support helped me.
An easy method to launch the demo via the standard A500 profiles (accessible through F3 key in ACA500plus menu) :
- Select : Standard A500 KS 1.3 (or 1.2) + 0.5M/0.5M
- AND Raise CPU set to 14 MHz

What a lovely twister!
