Didn't enjoy the original material much. The ball flyby scene in particular was so boring I could barely stand it. :\

What 4mat said! Any change to get mp3's of these Sonix songs somewhere?

Yeah, nice.

Serpent: I grabbed the .lha, renamed the 'i' folder to 'instruments' and copied the .smus files to the root. Then they'd play in Delix / XMPlay.

Thanks for kind words. :) I was (several times) angst-ridden about releasing another retro demo as I knew I couldn't use my real effects. That said, coding this resulted in two very optimized routines for my demo engine. Necessity is the mother and all that.

This demo was all about making the gfx and music the star of the show, and I'm so relieved you liked it for that. Don't forget that now for the first time Sonix songs can be used in demos on all Amigas, which was the main goal. I'd love to see this in an AGA demo with the wonderful synth sounds (I like it too 4mat!) and some heavier effects. :)

Nice retro feeling and I know how hard it is to compose stuff with Sonix but I can't help it, I'm a bit disappointed by the quality of the tracks.

Demo was OK, but great tunes. Thanks for the MP3 (rip? no original?). :)

Neat Musicdemo

The demopart is very nice so thumb up for that. But I can't figure out how to enter the musicdisk part? The readme says something about clicking the mouse button but I must be doing it at the wrong time or something.
rulez added on the 2012-06-08 09:30:07 by grip grip
Grip, just hold button while pressing enter or triple-click-and-hold if started from Workbench (tsk, tsk!) :)

When the demo starts the mode has been changed and you can hear all songs and read his scrolltexts for them.

What a nice little gem. Congratulation for this wonderful production, Photon. I really enjoyed it. The effects match perferctly the music. :)

Late thumb is late. Everything is quite different to the usual demo-style, but very well done. I actually quite enjoyed this. Nice pixels graphics. RGB tunnel/valley is my favorite.

How did I not comment on this one?! I had it on repeat when it was released back in the days! The 90s feeling it has is amazing! :)

Listened to the mp3 of it. Starts quite weak, but later tunes are really pleasant to listen to!
