Deserve the 1st place, have a great style (some "kakiarts" inspiration imho).
The demo is well structured with good transitions (liked especially the intro and the "zoom out" that leads to the city part).
Oh and the music fits perfectly.
The only thing that i like the less is the worm-ribbon in first scene.

Awesome msx!
Great music, great visuals, enjoyful.
great panda.
Solid production.
Nice'n'polished!
It feels a bit generic on the whole and is not the kind of demo that will be remembered for long.
However, the quality is top notch! It looks fantastic from start to finish and has a real professional feel about it. Very impressive demo!

I like the fact Panda Cube seems to be improving on every release they make. Not nescessarily making every prod better than the previous, but making their style more mature.
Once again, very impressive modeling work, some of the best I've seen in recent years in scene. Music is really well produced too. It's just that they don't really serve any purpose than to be there as audiovisual eye/ear candy but whatever, I don't think they are even meant to be anything else. The scene is largely about showing off your skills in various fields and that's exactly what I think you're going for here, now only if you could just instill some meaning behind it. I'd just like to see you do something purposeful with your skills because you obviously have quite a lot of them.
Also, as with your previous demos, this one doesn't really have any effects. Not that I think they need to be the centerpoint of every single demo, but the style you're going for to me just calls for the desperately.
In any case, quality prod. Not my favorite from the compo but I'm very much okay to see this win.

Totally agree with Wade. Generic, but very polished.
i remember the first scene which was very very nice, but the rest i can recall was only industrial standard scenes, which felt really really outdated.
need to rewatch it probably

Three unconnected scenes make this demo:
* A pulsating hexagon floor (the new cubes?) with some slow moving objects that escaped a mind's eye video. The over-saturated purple colours and the amount of blur/fake FOV doesn't really help. There are moments where everything goes too dark, then back to purple overdose.
* Then it cuts to generic industrial setting with robotic arms with flat screens on them. This part is very well done but is so derivative - how many times have we seen the very same setting (with actually the very same group names greeted?).
* Then there is an orange/black "blade runner" city which looks quite stunning. If only it had some action and if only the demo was based on it. Right now it feels like an afterthought. It's a shame, this part could have lifted the demo.
On the positive side, the music is fairly pleasant and serves its purpose.
I'm not following Panda Cube so I'm not sure if this is a step forward or what. But I'll give it a piggie.

What Navis said.
fine demo
I think that Navis pretty well sums up my own thoughts about this demo.
What Corial said.
Fancy electro-world meets industrial-fetish world :)
What Decipher said.
Yeah
Saw you guys working on this release the whole party. You really made a nice job.
It's like a Siamese twin, one head being a late 1990's replay intro and the other an early 00's smash designs demo. The whole thing is so devoid of any attitude, charm or identity of its own, it's truly disappointing.
Purple one-eyed trouser snakes in space with random bits borrowed by 200x demo groups.
Basically what tomaes said, but I wouldn't downvote it...

Get artsy or die.
lord : I rather be nothing ( hahah )
solid production. i dont like the sound, but cool gfx
A good one! I liked it very much on the bigscreen! Congratulations to the first place! :)
Vu meters + wieners.
But one must admit those are nice Vu meter and wieners.

Yeah, hmm, what Wade said, I guess.
:P
A solid demo. Nothing really memorable, but well-made.
beautiful texturing
just tried to watch it again - but: it starts to kill my aero whatever performance, continues to go fullscreen and windowed, switching resolution back and forth and in the end i got stuck with tons of error messages and a crash. tried it twice... meh
win7x64, i7-2600, GTX570. settings: fullscreen, 1920x1200:60Hz, 8xAA, wait for vsync

not my cup of tea. i kinda disliked everything.
Cool track. Nice effects. good flow.
forgot the thumb.
Nice demo, grats!
yup super nice start, loved the palettes, some nice fast scenes and the music rocked aswell, good vibes hope to see more from you guys soon, and congrats :)
neat content so thumbs up... still, what Corial said
Well done guys!
good demo, but indeed a bit forgettable.
I'm with Navis on this ... again.
One could have drawn a connection between the industrial scene and the "Blade Runner" skyline (that's what I did in my camping chair right in front of the screen) but that totally isolated that hexagon-landscape content & colourwise.
Or was the Flux the entrance through the hex-scape ?
Questions upon questions.

VU meters ? Yeah!
Ok, but nothing special. Drags on for a bit too.
sound is ok
A really nice demo, I liked all parts except the hand-drawed "panda in a cube" picture at the very end, doesn't fit with the main style of your demo (but it's a minor point).
:)
grx: got the latest stuff running. i run the demo, and during the first scene it suddenly switches back from fullscreen to windowed, while windows is telling me that the performance sucks and if i want to reduce my color scheme from aero to win7 basic. (lost device, eh? :)
now i'm watching the demo as a thumbnail....

like it :) best one in the compo
Music was kind of good.
I can't but thumb this up. There's apparent work here both on the production and the details. As a whole though it failed to captivate me.
Polished but still showing the same scenes for way too long. Didn't feel very connected.
as you promised to exchange the tsri-typo in the final and i already told you at Revision that i liked your prod here it goes your thumb.
I like your previous demo better, Only two parts an I find VU hexagons meter scene long and rather boring.
Still cannot thumb this down or give a piggie
Still cannot thumb this down or give a piggie
Just better than all the others...
found this to be an extremely boring polygon jerkoff (credits part was okay tho)
Not bad, but weirdly inconsistent
i like it.
It's OK, seems a little disjointed, first scene with the hex grid goes on a little long. Music is pretty good.
Some nice parts !
More trance-music demos ftw! Needs more effects!
yes yes yes ! very cool. watching it on the bigscreen felt really good at the party. thanks for this.
The thing is: THESE GUYS JUST RULE!
AWESOME AGAIN!!!
AWESOME AGAIN!!!
Was great but a little bit classic...
Again, a demo that actually works and had a solid concept. Most of the other demos in the compo were actually....erm
dont work here, win7-64+gf240
just after click exe:
Application start error #nnnn. Press OK.
Nothing error reports etc (

nice demo, even if not terribly exciting
obviously my taste flew very far away from typical demo concepts as this almost did hurt while watching on big screen. WTF winner, sorry. pity i cant see video to change my mind
I appreciate the work that went in it but it's time to move away from random scenes a bit. Make something conceptual. Think of a narrative. Tell a story.
i am a fan of this group. its all very appealing and lush colors n stuff. sweet spot stuff.
sorry, but it dont work. recompile please your major product without ms troubles !
Yes, some things seen before but quality prod. Rulez cos it reminded me of quality games' gfx :)
Awfully generic demo. Nice rendering, but a 3D spectrum analyzer, industrial-ish flyby and cityscape, without any connection between the parts and with some generic scenetrance on top of it really doesn't tickle my fancy. You've got the code sorted, now try to come up with a good idea ;)
unrelated parts, nothing that fancy albeit well done
what Gargaj said
congratz for the work, the prod is very solid and deserved the 1st place... but you can do a 100x more memorable prod if you try more on the concept side!

Thumb for both party release and final.
Decent. I had to watch on YouTube due to my old, Windows XP Pro. SP3 and DirectX 9.0c. :(
track is not bad.
The ppr version makes this demo a lot better! Great work, boys and girls!
my previous comment goes for the version which is watchable @ yt now.
vid of the final plz.
vid of the final plz.
way better :)
thanx!
thanx!
Looks really nice. Cool greets
really nice demo!
well, it somehow feels soalless and incoherent
no
sorry
I liked the affectionate little nods to Farbrausch. The first scene went on WAY too long, though. There could have been one or even two different scenes in that time -- or, just have a three-scene demo that's shorter. Pacing is important to me, so I'm afraid it's a pig for this prod.
you guys are really pathetic.
great modelling!
nice animations
Some good graphics and great music, but I agree with Navis. The scenes are not connected, it seems there's nothing new here. Definitely not bad, but a bit boring
The graphics and music are great, but I also feel that the scenes don't have any obvious connection. I do love the end credits backdrop - it reminds me of TRON (the 80's one).
Navis nailed it.
i loves it!
Awesome! Love it!
The final version improved the experience, but all in all, not my cup of tea....
The greetings and the final part are fabulous
Nice
pretty scenery (hexes, city), but could have done more. thumb up.
yes.. its me :)
thnx for your article..
Thumb for Flux!
Keep em coming!
Cheers!

For the toothpaste.
I love the music, the rest is too much flyby
Well, I like this a lot.
I Don't think a demo must have a "story" or a theme to be good.

I liked it
Demo consists of three parts, who look all good but unfortunately have nothing to do which each other. Starts really promising but leads nowhere ... music is good nevertheless.
I love the atmosphere and music! WOW this is awesome!! The PPR has even more stuff
