This is way over the top for 64b.

Super stylish 3D with baudsurfish sound.
Excellent to see this on the big screen, awesome for 64 Bytes!

outstanding!
And thanks for the dosbox config!
Weezer! 64b!! How‽
Hah. That was auto corrected from wowzer.
omg
very nice on the coding effort on that size, just the objects become more and more limited...may be spend extra 64 bytes on a more complex scene...
impressive. small.
kapow!
Prediction: Hellmood is going to break some not-yet-known physical law about information compressibility, and the fabric of reality will start to unravel. Things are gonna get weird after that, so hold on to your underpants.
simply wow!
Wow!!!!!
rulez!
Amazing sound covers my speechlessness
cute
😵 Hypnotic intro but cool!
What they all said
64b is demoscene renaissance
This code is absolute amazing. Downloaded both ESSENCE and INTO_WAR and have both running on Windows box and Macbook. Needs the MIDI UART emualtor to work on LINUX I guess. (In Linux boxes, I get video - wth HellMood's Dosbox-0.74.conf file, but can't get audio to work.) The helicopter sound in the IN2WAR64.COM is excellent. Slick trick. I built a math-hacked (fixed) version of DOSbox & put it up on Google's Playstore a few years back - it was called gDOSbox, but Google kicked all my stuff (which was free!) off the Playstore. Not sure if the old gDOSbox on Android supports MIDI, but I will try it. I'll need to recompile to use HellMood's DOSbox .conf file. If you try without his .conf, you just get pixel-smear. I downloaded the DOSbox-0.74-3 source for the Linux boxes, and built it - both on 32-bit CentOS-6 and 64-bit CentOS-7, just to try this stuff. Video works, as mentioned).
For those with standard DOSbox-0.74 on Window or MacOS, you should have MIDI emulator built in (so his UART tweaks should let the sound be heard). To start DOSbox with HellMood's .conf:
On Mac: open -a DOSBox --args -conf /Users/<yourID>/<yourDIR>/essence/dosbox-0.74.conf
On Windows: (really old-school Toshiba Multi-media laptop, running WinXP)
"\program files\dosbox-0.74\dosbox" -noconsole -conf "\<yourDirectory>\essence\dosbox-0.74.conf"
When DOSbox starts, you need to "mount c /<yourDirectory>" and then
C:, and nav to whereever you put ESSENCE and INTO_WAR.
If you got the right .conf, you will see the "** HellMoods Config ** " message when DOSbox starts.
Hint: <for folks with no clue about DOSbox> Use <ALT enter> to toggle fullscreen off and on, and <CTRL-F9> to end the simulation.
This is impressive work. I would have bet it was not possible, and I would have lost the bet! Thanx for posting the code.
Anyone know what MIDI emulator / driver I need to get sound on a Linux box?

wow, super impressive!
Cool!
AWESOME!
well done!
great
I forgot to say this comment in the assembly listing made me laugh:
Code:
; Instead of going pixel by pixel, the following jumps
; Pseudorandomly across the screen, this smoothes the
; animation a lot and looks a bit like pathtracing.
imul di,byte 117
Where's my jaw?
Smaller than small.
Wow!
!
Good stuff!
essential
64B :)
Thx for sourcecode.
Thx for sourcecode.
Nice little 64k with some cubes and an effect
Cool 64b!
Totally amazing. From now on I'll multiply all my values and code with 117 to make it look better ;-)
