The best 4th placed 4k intro evah :)
hmm.. flickering screen here... music works though.
bass!
Super nice.
I would have expected this to place higher than 4th, but then again the quality in the 4k compo was quite good.
Looooved the geometry and track!
VERY COOL !
But why only placed 4th ?!
excellent music! and the visuals ain't bad either ;p
I get a flickering screen as well (ATI 4870).
I've actually had this happen with my own code as well, and it seems to be what happens if I use a 3.0 pixelshader with the default vertex shader. Seems like the uv coords are messed up by something and it uses (0,0) for everything. Setting a custom 3.0 VS fixes it. It's probably really a driver issue though so I'll try watching again after I update them :)

Altakrass ick liebe Dir.
really fucking cool intro. it really rocks; at least for the first 2/3 of the intro, before that yellow/green stuff came on screen (which, in my opinion, doesnt fit at all with the rest). i dont know what was the idea or what it is supposed to represent, but it almost sounds like : we had 150 bytes left for the intro what you we do now ?). i would have prefered to dont see that stuff and instead get some color or geometry variation at the end (blast everything by changing fractal parameters or do some objects intersection ?). anyway it rocks, especially when each bass make camera go one level higher...
I feel this is underrated. I only saw it on the stream, but the massiveness of the perspective at the beginning make me hold my breath for several seconds (yes i can do that ;) ). I admit, this ball-thing in the second half is not my taste, but the structures are. Everything timed with the sounds made it even more beautiful! I love it.

Unfortunately that doesn't fix it, still the same problem after installing the latest drivers :( I'd love to see a fix because it looks like an awesome 4k. The vid is good enough for a thumb up tho ;)I'll try watching again after I update them
great...
Nice!!!
what phobium said
Good
Thumb muss sein :)
Strange colors but great geometry
Nice!
The Menger sponge of buildings.
LOL Las, they stole your spikeball xD
Nice buildings though!
Nice buildings though!
Very nice!
Wow, awesome intro! Easily the best in the compo. Only the spikeball does not fit at all and somehow destroys the mood. But those buildings/whatever are extremely cool!
Looks great apart from that seriously-out-of-place (both color and shape-wise) green thing. :)
strobo++
neat, cool, fast !
Nice, but I agree with gloom and chock comment about the green thing :\
like the buildings but damn those green anus are breaking the effect !
Woah ! Nice 4k !
Ist das Kunst oder kann das weg? (Der Daumen bleibt weils 4k sind, aber an sich isses auch nur Objektgeballer wie immer). Schade.
What gloom said.
leave out the spikeball and this could have been awesomeness!
Damn! I just get a flickering screen. At least the music (pretty good) works fine.
ATI Mobility Radeon 4650 here.

what groom said, I liked a lot the fractal city :)
GLOOM not groom, damn autocorrect :)
This demo should have win or get on the second place at least. Anyway...well done! Thanks for the interview btw. :-)
Too much untz and the green blob is strange one. Gorgeous construction yard styled city though.
+ solid work for a fast party-production
- that strange green blop

best architecture in 4KB evah
With ambient music and without the ball this would've been really awesome. As it is, I find it a bit hard to honestly like.
.
Awesome great. Should be ranked higher at compo !
Deserve a first place.
But low pass filter is strongly needed on sound (too much highs).

Great stuff! The city scene looks great. The dimpleball needs a better material, but hey. Good tune too.
I love those buildings.
The "buildings" and camera are nice. It would be a lot better if you just skipped the trademark las raymarching begginer's thread test object.
This Demo is a winner. look at this glas sphere as example , This one deserves an Oscar ! =)
What the hell was that green thing? Also what gloom said.
window opens, music starts to play.
then an error msg pops up but music continues to play. is it dx10 or 11?
xp32, pII B55, gtx460
final plz :)

As a party prod it looks and sounds very good.
What's up with the colors and the green thing?! Music was ok.
4086 still 10 bytes for a couple of cities :)
Cleverly looped quads/boxes + patterns. Shows the fun way how ur eye can be
fooled if you know what you are doing making the stuff look massive.
I watched it multiple times the first time I didn't beelive what I saw
and thought its gotta steal some resources from the OS.
The tune deserves extra mentioning, it's far above most 4k shit sounding great.
The yellow object is out of place, could be completely left out and
also one point the camera goes too edge of the city, which destroys the massive
illusion, should have sticked center of the geometry where it cant be noticed.

cool use of raymarching. though i don't understand the need for the green something
Impressive fractal! But it's a bit short and the music, though technically good, isn't my cup of tea.
wow. cool
cool terrain, some very nice cameras! but that greenthing?
nice city enviroment & sync of music. dont like the yellow thing but its a good demo @ all :)
Ugly to the point of discomfort, a bit of palette tweaking and omitting that booger would do miracles.
Great stuff, matching music but personally, I do not see the point to have the bulb on the screen for such a long time.
I also get the same flicker fullscreen colors with my ATI Radeon 4870 video card (512 MB; ATI CCC v11.7) in my old Windows XP Pro. SP3 machine. I thought that was normal and noticed it took too long to show something else. I had to watch YouTube video. It looks decent. I like its tune (is it downloadable?).
what shifter said. i can appreciate the effort but other than that its a real eyesore.
rotzball
top banana
extremely cheesy music!
That "green thing" almost destroys the whole intro. The music is quite cheesy indeed. Other than that it's a nice 4k.
City is awesome.
What the hell is "Objektgeballer"? That's not serious criticism. Great city.
Oh and weird green ball. Hah.
Had somehow forgotten to thumb this up. One of my favorites.
really dynamic and nice.
Quite nice if you ignore the "annoying drum" and the needless spikeball scene :)
Yeah, 90s music + 21st century visuals. Nice, dudes!
awesome! that was a great compo ^^
Nice!
