transpareny-fake? i have no idea what you are talking about, i guess you are talking of the mirrored geometry which looks like transparency due to moduloed_geometry...if you look in a mirror and have the same behind you as you have in front of you, this looks almost as if you´d still look in front of you, yes! ;)

you are the master of disassembling shader-code, so please have a look already, parts1-4 were meant to stay in 4k-limit...then i implemented the final-music and we´ve been way above 4k...so we decided to not destroy the music in any way, going 64k(knowing never being able to exceed 8k)...i then implemented a 5th part, which aint obfuscated, you´ll see once disassembled...i didnt care about filesize anymore from this point (also knowing the deadline was close already!) and added stuff! (i would have kept adding more and more if the deadline wouldnt have come that early, while i have been fastly coding already, ask virgill ;) )

Also minor fuckings for not listening to all the guys (including me) telling you that a 101 tap blur kernel is not a very wise decision regarding performance.

yep, ok, now i got you (no idea what your definition of transparency is though!)
the grid-scene (with hexagonal cylindricals) has blended geometry, its hardly visible in the rush its shown and the way i implemented it ;) but its there, rewatch and see the geometry melt into each other (its the 3 flying objects, sphere and torus and octahedron, versus the hexagon-grid...i tried to blend the 3 objects aswell, but became a mess on first try, aswell as on 5th try...so i ditched it for obvious reasons...le deadline! ...FINAL maybe!)

very cool! bin gespannt auf die gettubte version bei mir läuft das teilweise mit 0.01 fps oder so :)! Quite nice music and some(ahem many!!) pretty scenes..
Looks and sounds nice, but runs quite slow here too. Also, Hardy, fix that fucking aspect ratio - it's an issue with all your intros :)

if i have browser(firefox here) running in the background, it is eating up more than half of the framerate, due to JAVA (most likely only happens if sth JAVA-dependant is running in your browser, like youtube ;) JAVA7.0 sucks!)
...so close your browser, set 720p for primaryMonitor, start, have fun!

Got as far as the greeting before I hit ESC. Very slow, repetitive, so utterly "done before", and perhaps the slowest code (for what's on the screen) in years. Also, the aspect error is just terrible.
Hardy, you are getting better and better. Visuals are really cool. Audio is again superb. Rocking production!

Great intro and music, but very bad performancewise hardy. No other running programs, HD 5850 here, some scenes had roughly 15-30FPS due to vsync. Stop being so stubborn and fix that blur of yours that's eating 25% of your entire intro rendering time.
oh and although it's completely irrelevant, there's no firefox or java installed here.

I like the general design, the lush colors and the playful feel.
What i don't like is the fact that it runs pretty slow on my setup and that the music, although very nice in it self, doesn't really fit the groove and mood of the whole.
But, considering the overall absence of actual problematic flaws, it is pretty good. Thumbs up!

Horrible colors and at this point pretty uninteresting visual concent, but the track was nice :) (snare and hihat are lacking though)
well, fastprod ;) music is way bigger than normally...but i didnt want virgill having to destroy it, and as we realized its a mixed intro-compo at around the same time, we chose to not try to get back under 4k ;) instead i added greets ;) its not far from 4k tho, if i remove the text-overlays and obfuscate the rest of the shadercode (its only partly obfuscated as the deadline approached pretty fast and as said, we didnt care about the size anymore!)

Technically not impressive, as I prefer immediate ray-tracing over ray-marching. That can be faster and therefore allows making glass.
But I like it as a casual everyday intro, it makes my mind dance. Should not show the same effects for that long time, and never repeat the same scene without change.

Recompress the exe using crinkler v1.4 to run on Win7 + latest Nvidia drivers:
