MASSIVE respect!!! Very nice tunes!
I have only listened to the mp3's so far, but I assume they are beatmixed in the musicdisk as well?

Lovely to see a quality dnb/jungle prod on the miggy again! <3
rulez added on the 2011-09-12 10:55:45 by spotUP spotUP
Yeah, the MP3 was recorded from an A1200 running the music disk end to end.

Really enjoyed the music and i also like the graphic design. Btw, I wonder how the tranisitions between mods are done and if it are 4channel mods? Amazing audio quality anyhow :)
rulez added on the 2011-09-12 11:53:59 by fiveofive fiveofive
Ok, now how do I run this prod on my Amiga that doesn't have floppy drive? The ADF files are NDOS. HDD/WHDLoad installer would be nice.
added on the 2011-09-12 14:41:47 by AceMan AceMan
@Aceman - Sadly I've never done a WHDLoad slave, so now the projects completed, i've asked a good friend of mine to get one done, will let you know when it's ready...

@fiveofive - all protracker 4 channel mods in this one, the tunes are double buffered in memory so when one finishes playing, it instantly starts playing the next. First people to do it on the Amiga was Flash Productions
added on the 2011-09-12 17:57:20 by djh0ffman djh0ffman
@djh0ffman - ok, I'm waiting impatiently then :) This production looks very promising.

I have no idea who Hoffman asked to do a WHDLoad patch, I do know however that I have a working patch already, just have to patch the hidden parts too and then it's finished. Will be released today or tomorrow!

rulez added on the 2011-09-13 07:46:56 by starbuck starbuck
stingray: completely forgot that! I'd asked Galahad, better let him know. Looking forward to the WHDLoad. As mentioned multiple times in the music disk text, thanks again for all the help.

Just added the stunning ASCII NE7 did for me at the party.
added on the 2011-09-13 09:12:31 by djh0ffman djh0ffman
Hoffman: No problem. :) The patch is now finished, all hidden parts patched too. Now I just have to create the install package and an icon and the WHDLoad patch can be released.

Oh, and thumb up of course for the music disk! I'm normally not a fan of jungle but the quality of the tunes is outstanding! The scopes rock too. :)

sounds promising.. will have to d/l tomorrow and try if it'l work on my A4040..

hmm. just realized how big the file is, so it's a no-go for me since I only have diskettes to xfer the files..
hooverphonique, pro tip: there are three diskette images inside, plus mp3s and mod files. that explains the size.
Yep, there are 3 x 880 KB .adf files in the archive, and that's all you need! :)

Jungle music really isn't right up my alley. On the other hand I must say it's nice to hear such sounds on my good old Amiga. All tracks are mixed together (which is unusual for PT-modules) and the surface is pure eye candy. Great work!

Hey Johny, I take it you have 512k chip and 512k slow ram? Sorry about that, it needs 1 meg chip to run because of the module swapping system.

This is my kind of beat. Recognised a lot of the classic drums and samples in there.
Also the stylistic range from Moving Shadow'ish to proper UK Hardcore to sophisticated drum & bass like the Metalheads used to release amazed me while listening to the mix :D

Under WinUAE 28.1.0, work with ECS chipset and 1MB chip all right, but only with a 68020 CPU or higher and Kickstart 2.04 and higher...

Tried with A500, A500+ and A600 configuration with 1MB chip, none of them work (instant crash at the bootblock). Strangely, the A3000 with Kickstart 2.04 works fine. A1200 worked too. Even the A4000T/68060 worked. It seems none of the Amiga with a 68000 works, no matter the chipset, RAM or Kickstart combination.

I never came across an ECS demo requiring a 68020 to run!
added on the 2014-09-24 06:50:04 by ramon ramon
That's because of a bug in the bootblock (bsr.l IIRC). I have fixed this years ago as some people on EAB had problems running the demo too. I'll see if I still have the fixed disk 1 somewhere.

It only took me 3 years but this has been finally fixed. The patch should work on your A600 now. Please download the latest version of the patch from the WHDLoad site, I've fixed quite a few other problems as well.

looks great but I wanted to listen using WinuAUE , but it crash immediatly. (WinUae on A500, 1MiB CHIP, KS 1.3 rev 34.5)
Any hint to make it run on WinUAE? Is A500 OCS supported?

theres a bug in the bootblock which uses a long bsr which is only on 020 and higher. WinUAE actually used to let this go through on a 68000 which if it didn't I would have caught it and fixed it before release.

I think there is a patch, if not I'll see about getting it finally fixed.

One of the very best Amiga music-disks with alot of superb tunes. I remember well, when this came out and how fascinated i was from the most songs. Sadly i could not start it, on the most of my A500s (512kb chip + 512kb fast) cause it needs 1MB chipram at least. But worked on my A600 and on a modded A500 of mine, which had a switch on the backside, to put all the memory on chipram. Superb music-disk, wished to see a hacked version come out at some day, that also work with 512kb+512kb.
