Just so you know, I was giving up on this cracktro. I was going to add sine-bobs, palette fade on each sides of the scroller, remove the vector cube (was an experiment) and maybe change the design a little. I lost the motivation for it, so I just gave the source code to Skid Row. It could've been much better, just saying. I hoped Skid Row would get one of their coders to change it a little before releasing, but sigh.
It's not a C64 emulator, but I use a 16 long C64 color palette (RGB32) and I pre-blit the logo in 2x width C64 BG mode on load.

Still my fault though for passing the source code without thinking twice, but we all learn by our mistakes.
The music is very irritating - is it really supposed to sounds like it's gone through a ring modulator or is that just the result of major Vista incompatibility?

It's not so bad after all. The logo and music is nice yet there's two things missing; Fullscreen and a nice little starfield.
