I thumb it up only by seeing the screenshot due to the nostalgia feeling. I think this was one of the first cracktros I saw on Amiga and if I am not mistaken I liked it at that time.

The gameplay was much better than Falcon actaully in my oppinion. Great soundfx really the fealling of floating through high air at top speed!

I spent thousand hours playing Interceptor ! i succeed landing on the aircraft-carrier with the F-16 (without any hook !).
The menu's music was really marvellous ! (i always got the module on my c:/music/mod/games/ ;)
btw, i bought the sequel on PC, it was called "Jetfighter 2", by Bob Dinermann, a really great game too !
Too bad Jetfighter 3 was a pure shit :(

Also i loved this wonderfull cracktro... by the way we all now from this time on, that gunther craemer was a thief coz he uses the copy routines of fast lightning in his own copy tool...

Might add that the whole vibe of this - especially thanks to the tune but also the overall 'darkness' - was a whole lot different to intros found on C64 cracks and maybe this was kind of a blueprint for similar intros to come later on from Classic or Paradox.

Fond memories will bring the inevitable thumb, I feel ;) Not competitive technically, but the ST-01 music is an early song that was different and created a "haunting" feel together with the prudent design. All told, it commanded your attention.

Even if I loved that game I never bought it. It was easy to start, but fucking hard to land. Tried it so many times. But back the crackintro. Yes, what StingRay says. Also for me it's the scrolltext I've been reading most times.

I reckon this intro must have been among the first ones I came across on my good old A500. I like the design and the mystic feeling it conveys. Despite the fact that not so much is happening on the screen I always had the impression that the individuals behind this production were smart heads who knew fairly well what they were doing. A couple of days ago, I read up some background information about Unit A on Exotica (written by Diz - who, by the way, hides his light under a bushel) . . . and yes, the former members of Unit A are smart! It would have been great to make your acquaintance back in the late 80s / early 90s. Conclusion: Unit A and this intro are legendary!
