Somehow I feel like I've seen this before ;) The colour scheme is a bit annoying sometimes, however the rendering based in that colour scheme creates nice oranges.

The text is not poetry by a far fetch, and the music rules.
If you look really close you can see red, green, and blue squares, and you can even turn your speakers off to change the music a bit :)

It's not designish or good looking or anything - basically it's one effect and a fuckload of variations seen years ago already. Hell, even the atmosphere is a bit shabby because the ugly font and the lack of transitions... But somehow it has something that's captivating. Maybe it's the message. I wouldn't know.

Should have been 64k, but otherwise really good. Nice tune, nice style + effects, and the words were good for me. None of the usual "my life sux and i wanna die" crap at least :) Solid thumb up.
@activator: it doesn't need any pixelshader card actually, but i use an extension for rectangle textures that aren't to be found on crappy cards.

What difference does the .exe size make? We don't live in the assembler days anymore..
Preacher: That doesn't mean optimization is obsolete either. Anyway, the .exe size is ok for a normal demo, especially considering it was coded in such a short time (without any special tools).
I gotta second Preacher. I prefer an optimized frame rate over an optimized filesize anytime. In fact, I couldn't care less about filesizes. Did we get broadband for 1k-intros or what? :)

As to colours, yellow normaly is considered to be the colour of hatered :) Also it's hard to call those few lines a poetry, but what the hell do I know, right? ;) It's emotional - fine, but missing a lot. Mood is indeed nice and overall it's a pig :)

the illusion that the music and the repetitve effects could create is broken by the texts, all those superficial phrases, including the title.

BarZoule: white screen and black bars? sounds like you got a bug or something since there are no bars in this demo. only particles and triangles. and the background is yellow.. sound to me that your card doesnt support the rectangle extension or something.. what do i know.. and who said it's about my love life? i could be anyones. is it even about love?

Hm. The effect is pretty nice. For 15 seconds. It's getting rather boring after a short while. Also the typography is so not thought of. Could be a lot better.

And oh, i really like poetry in demos (e.g Shapes), but it has to be deeper and more vivid. This "demo" has potential, but for now it's a vague piggie.
