released now due to threats of violence and manrape otherwise. way too rushed, but we don't have time to work any more on it now :/

runs in some weird viewport here (a rectangle at the bottom of the screen). i'm off to buy a newer gfx card ):
A little bit slowish on my 6600gt, and the sync wasn't really accurate, but overall a nice invit with cool music.

Nice, but somehow bland. It really should have more punch to it.

ran in like below 1fps on my 6600gt.
but the music was ace and the still picutures i saw looked really nice.

Fuck yeah ! (it doesn't run here on the 9600XT :-( ).

Hamaar here we come !

runs smooth on my radeon9600.. so i don't understand why it is so slow on the 6600... It requires EXT_framebuffer_object, ps2.0 and vs2.0 though. Video will be up soon at [url]http://folk.ntnu.no/andelas/pluto.avi[/url}

i have coded with FBO's on this computer so i know that they work.. and they are quite fast too.. so i don't think it's there where the problem is really.. or maybe it is? :S
added on the 2006-02-28 17:22:25 by bzz bzz
well it says here : an unsupported GL extension was required to perform this operation.

My system here is a 9600XT. I will try playing around with the .cg files...

i attribute the lack of energy to being unfinished - otherwise this is cool.

This is a Outracks Style !
Yep, nice visuals and very very good soundtrack.

Short but sweet - Just the way I like it ;)

navis: Runs perfectly here on 9600 XT, perhaps you need to update catalyst drivers?

i see the texts at the beginning, then i get music and a blank screen. (xp sp2, gf6800 go)
Quite stylish. Ran well on my 9800Pro, except for some minor gfx bugs.
rulez added on the 2006-02-28 18:24:50 by break break
I looked cool, but something keeps the fps down and I'm not sure why and the light-shader seemed to have some floating issues or something, but it was a bit cool as well.
Loved the music and synch and general design of the demo! :)

duckers: upgrading or downgrading?
added on the 2006-03-01 00:19:52 by psenough psenough
ok, i upgraded to most recent ones, still looks abit too slow for 1ghz machine with a x800 pro.. O_o

also, is the sound supposed to be noisefucked like that? i checked the .mp3 and it was not.. is it supposed to be hardcoded design or is something really fucking up the soundbuffer? O_o

slow at my ati mobility 9600. i guess it's cpu-bound tho, there's no obvious reason for this being fillrate-bound (and i know how duckers and quisten tend to write effects ;)
added on the 2006-03-01 11:42:36 by kusma kusma
First of all, I dig the music.

Not the best Outracks(and Keyboarders) demo out there (kinda short with few effects), but impressive enough (cause of the music and some sync and cool presentation) and quite nice for a party invitation.

Keep up the great work!!! (many Outracks and Keyboarders demos are staying in my HD now, Norwegian scene seems to rule these days!)

I've always been weak for this kind of music and look.. It takes me back to deesbab and that kind of prods.. Wish you had ploughed through some gridexpander tunnels instead of the massive hierarchy effect though. Still really nice stuff. Definetly rules!

Appallingly slow on first and last scenes. I blame it on my gffx 5 series card. Otherwise, pretty good.

Oh, one bug tho.. i ran it 3 times, trying to get the speed better with driver settings - second time I only got audio from the right channel. Worked fine again next time.

well well.. this is not enought for a rulez from my part. I liked the party in the top right of the screenshot pretty well. but uhm... I guess I kinda feel this way due to the quality of other outracks-demos :) Have a nice party at TG :)

cool stuff, a little slow here.. i guess that's my fault though ;)
rulez added on the 2006-03-03 18:51:55 by dila dila
Runs fine on my pc at work, which is more or less the same config as the one I have at home (6600 GT + XP SP2), I guess it was a driver version issue.

To be honest I expected much more from Outracks (that's what you get when you previously released ubercool stuff) and the part with the red/white tris looked quite bad.

Refreshing enough for a thumb up though :)
rulez added on the 2006-03-03 19:55:15 by keops keops
I experienced the same problems keops described above(gt 6600) ,so I watched the video.
Should update the drivers.
I have a fondness for space demos ,so the
nice visuals ,FX ,plus a powerful tune get my thump! =o)
