Graphics are interesting, although everything else doesn`t appeal to me. A lot of distorting text and textures in somewhat random order.

Great material, although i don't like the music at all, in a demo point-of-view.
Maybe too much filled with good intentions.

Pretty visual, funky music to say the least... I was sort of bored still.

Really great to see handdrawn graphics being used in demos again and it looks nice, but it needs to do more than blending layers to make a demo. Not so good.

What's a problem? GOOD demo. Great soundtrack, beautyful pictures, right sync. Not enough? May be. But how care? :) Demo gives positive feeling, so it's all right.

Very nice soundtrack, but the demo feels like it is not breathing, like there is no pulse.

Oh and Shane : Thumbing down every production does really make you look like the vicious spoilt bastard of VIZ... :-)

Fair enough ! I still think that a thumb down should not be reserved for demos that 'don't run on my machine' or 'I don't like this particular style' (or even worst, PC suxx, amiga rules etc.etc.).

hmm... disappointed me a little, after seeing the title. Too many blended layers perhaps, and the tune isn't my taste. The artwork looked really good tho.. i'll have a look and see if i can find them in the data folder later for a proper study. Otherwise.. well, quality, deserving of a rules for sure, but not really my cup of tea

This is the first one I watched yesterday and somehow it felt that I liked it most of them. Groovy Jazz sound, solid designs and syncing, and some nice effects!

Only one good thing on this demo is outstanding Virgill´s music.... All other things (design, gfx) are multilayer boring crap.

For Virgill´s music thumb Up, but whole demo is a little dissapointment...

I guess people don't appriciate 2d anymore as much as in the past.

Oh so nice. Very good style, good gfx, the music was very nice and gave the demo a smooth style. The particle effect was not as good as the other ones :-/

Sadly i missed this in the compo because i wasn't really paying attention (there were way too many PC demos and most of them sucked - not this one).

The demo seems badly bugged here. Every scene flashes pink and green, and the demo hangs my system. :( The few bits I did see looked pretty good, though.

isnt the pink and green from the debug d3d library thingy? I was told that happens when you set some illegal states or something.

As for the demo. It is rather good looking, but there's too much additive blending in most parts to make out any effects. Some scenes are just flat looking additive mess.

2d backgrounds are rather nice. No ugly colours in here either.
I liked the ribbons towards the end. Saving thumb for the final.

I saw a not so good demo and listened to the music of a way better demo...

good music, but otherwise nothing special. I liked the scroller near the end.

But the soundtrack rulez! Also this song, albeit shortened, appears in Pump It Up Pro 2, and can also be found in "In The Groove 3" StepMania community song pack, which is where I found it.

clichecity music wise

Vocals = jesus fucking christ! Rest wasn't too entertaining either but not that bad.

Entertaining music but the effects look like a half-heartedly done VJ set...

overall ok

Lots of really weird and messy design choices justify the poor ranking. Just to give an example, the logo at 1:25 nearly reads "Fart City" thanks to the emblem on the left that surely wasn't needed there. The soundtrack is a mixed bag as well; it's almost impressive how it tries so hard yet makes the utter lack of originality its goal at the same time.
