says something about an unsupported extension and fails to load?
Good soundtrack, cool visuals and runs fine. Nice work.
Ok, here it is. From the guys who think robots, dream robots and even sleep robots! Portal Process "No 01".
Main_TG05.cpp:456 Unsupported extensions for G4 TI 4200 128 Mo
very nice :) go drink some whiskey :)
great stuff indeed, a cool idea and nice looking 3d. good music too, sounds a lot like black sun empire ;) the music volume seemed to be quite low though?
SNARLING HOLD ME
deserved to win! nice 3d work!
Very nice! The models and animations looks awsome!
I feel owned
Kick arse soundtrack. Me lika a lot.
once again portal process does an wonderfull demo. The best in 2005 from my point of view
This one was really cool. You deserved first place!
Portal Process, I want you to have my children. Love the demo, and the scene in the screenshot simply kicks ass. Beautiful demo that rocked on the big screen.
Great.
Absolutely fantastic! Great job guyes. 1st place was well earned!
rules. kinda slow at some parts, but that could be my fault, too.
great idea, amazing implementation, portal process quality as usual!
Nice, but the quality of the rendering (UGLY blurring, lots of aliasing) was not that good.
forgot to mention: the soundtrack KICKS SOME SERIOUS ASS. My poor, poor speakers...
lug00ber: no problem on my GF 6600 GT. However, there is a short part (the spinning object) that ran at 1 FPS during 3 or 4 seconds but I did not manage to know whether it was part of the show or if it was a problem with my card :)
And yes, the soundtrack is really good!

if you get the unsupported extensions error you should install new gfx drivers. (that should be the obvious thing to do)
a cool demo.
a cool demo.
Cool models and shadows, a bit boring though. At least that's how I felt yesterday. Or I guess after a long time of demowatching the BP entries, I was tired to watch more ;)
Great demo and runs fine here - XP GF ti 4200 and latest detonators.
samwise: it did not spoil the fun anyway, the demo rocks ;)
a bang-on, chest-thumping production!
the same portal process style better than ever. (although i think it would need some more 2d graphics and design in addition to the awesome 3d stuff.)
Crawlotron rules.
I'm speechless
Biots comes!
This robot moves by crawling as in the end of terminator 1 :P rulez
The undisputed winners at TG05 and they deserved the 1st price.
The 3d modelling was ace as always and the pacing of the demo was __way__ better that in "The Horizontal".

Truly well made and pleasing. The only problem that occurrred at my machine was some kind of stopping of the rendering every time a cam/scene changed for 0.25 seconds or so
Robotic domination!
pretty nice.
i wish they would fix the bugs on the textures/lighting that occur under my radeon x800 pro though...
after 3 demos its starting to get very annoying O_o

Very nice. Some of the bots need a little more imagination perhaps, like the generic cyborg head thing, but others were cool like the crawler and the chain-motherfucker at the end.
insane. same style as in some previous releases, but this rocks even more. rewinding to see it again!
nice demo, cool effects. a bit slow in some cases, and some visual artifacts: shadows seem to be fucked up/faked (a light spot on top, and some shadows on the same surface?)
no real transitions, and some "seen 1000 times before" scenes, like this human head in an industrial environment.
the only part i really liked was this spider style machine... yeah, this absolutely rocked. cool movement, very nice :))))
it looked like you spent a lot of time on your scenes/engine/models itself, but you forgot things like transitions, synchs and stuff.
the demo was a bit short...
anyway, still a rulez for you :)

hmhm.
i guess since Glowsick and Lumotronik worked, you think more of it works better? WELL DAMN RIGHT :)
the track just owns. like no tomorrow.
i'm not to fond of the visuals (they look a bit TOO much like the previous demos) but hey they look awesome :)
just one more thing.
ShowCursor(FALSE); // :)

Saved by the great modelling.
(The pieces of that exploding ball defy the gravity law, how did you do that ?).

great effect.
great scene.
and cool music.
great scene.

Not very polished, but some moments/animations were very good :)
I want more robots.. hail crawlotron :)
Rocked!
13.3 megabytes for a 3d flyby with supermarket shaders... come on.
Only the models and partly the music save this from a thumb down, imho.

neat
Doesn't work on any of the ATI cards I have... Looked good at the party, though -- in particular, the modelling shines as always. :-)
*wow*
one of the few demos that has a totally "natural" look (= you cannot tell if this thing is rendered realtime by the gfx-card or offline by some expensive renderer)..
also ultra-high-detail tech-meshes and nice muzik FORCE me to do this:

VIDEO! GIVE!
oh yeah
that was very awesome
that was very awesome
cool, not hot though.
i like robots
worked on my ATi 9800 pro
it is fantastic!
Yeah I noticed. I updated the download link to the final version right before you posted it again anyway ;)
samwise: so, since you insist on not supporting my lameass gpu, how about a videocapture?
Slummy: you're such a clown with your 90's technology
;)
;)
samwise: you have the same lame gpu in your laptop.. but anyway, yeay for capture! :)
keops: thats MR.Clown to you, you grumpy old atarilamer..

*nods recognisingly*
It feels a bit empty and pointless, but it sure looks cool and I love the modelling.
works on my 9700pro
rulez
absolutely massive. crawlotron is the best.
this entertaining thing really looked great, even on bs r9550se ;)
Decent enough concept, nice enough to look at. Me likes, although whenever shadows appear it slows to a 2fps crawl. (X800)
Holy shit!! This demo really opened my eyes.. :) Execellent music which fits perfectly into this kind of demo... I really love this one... :)
one thing is for sure:
they do not need another musician.
all thumbs up.
they do not need another musician.
all thumbs up.
robots!
Yeah, this one rocks. Not too many drum'n'bass demos around anyway.
wooh.
Solid.
mega fuckin' cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
portal process team you rock!
Crawlotron is amazing.
very gooood, I liked dnb demos at most...
great!
For some reason, I didn't quite except it to end where it did.
freaking awesome demo! Great stroy perspective really freshens up awesome techdemo
i likes mellowtron :)

Nice sync and cool robots!
Too bad it shuts down my system after watching..... o_O

any movie of this yet?
i don't like but it's really good
Good music and kicking visuals!
Great Objects, nice scenes. Could have varied a bit more in colours. Very fitting soundtrack!
Crawlotron.
Biots.
Mindtron.
Great objects with very carefully thought out design for best use of small animation. Nice sync. Lack of effects but still a great demo.
nice 3d
good one, works well for me.
Watched today again and still an awesome production, love for this one :)
Rocks!
Very nice
No thumb :S
This is an awesome demo that used to popup some error message boxes on my old machine near the end.

Another missing thumb. Awesome music, nice gfx.
a very creative and conceptual demo, one of the best
I get regular cravings for this one 17 years after it was released! That's something

Amazing 3d modelling and shadows that add to the experience.
