Message to Ash: when i boot the onefile demo without the adf the demo came in, the demo doesnt seem to work? (doesnt come further than the red Hackers logo)

@magic the demo uses a custom trackloader. be sure to copy all tracks. we have marked the used sectors accordingly to the rootblock bitmap. the disk also needs to be in df0.

Cool, after the big scroll text which is still cool, there is really cool phat atmospheric music, with glorious texture mapped scenes. Really like the vibes and the tech is intresting.

The first half is dull, with an annoying randomly flickering floppy icon, but the second half... WOW! Those sort of 3D effects were common on Amiga demos back in the late 1990s on high-end AGA machines, but to see it done on A500 today is astonishing!

hoooooooly shittttttt, i spent a bit of time a while ago entertaining the thought of this sort of effect on ocs, but quickly gave up, assuming it wasn't even remotely possible. guess i should have given myself another 12 years to think harder :D

What's much more remarkable than a demo crashing on the A600 (probably wrong kickrom installed) is that your 1084 still has its front flap! ;)

Likely a failed dynamic memory allocation. Compo version was only tested on A500 512/512 with KS1.3. Final version will support a wider range of configurations.

My friend's machine is a 1MB Amiga 600, and yes I have no idea how he acquired a 1084S with a working flap :P
