What the actual fuck LJ
Incredible!
What an Idea! Well done!
<3
Great visuals, great storytelling, great atmosphere. Your intros are always a gift.
Love the rendering
The idea is amazing and its executed on a high level. Wow!
The thing i don't understand is, why it is not with its original soundtrack which tops this soundscape by a mile (And if the argument is size, i bet you guys could have come up with something to solve that).

such a great mood, excellent!
superb
Awesome. I love how fleshed-out the story is.
really next-level, this one!
Clever portioning of size (the opening 20-30 seconds is probably responsible for like 70% the size by my guess) and decent storytelling.
really cool and fresh, but to me the illusion is broken by high framerate. it needed to be locked to about 18 ;), with like `t = floor(t*18.)/18.;` or something
Awesomely creepy!
nice blair witch project
Awesome!
4k is the new 64k
massive
My party favorite ♥️
In 50 Glöps, a CDC will land here :)

Also my party favourite. Unbelievably impressive artwork! Congrats!
Wow! My favorite from the party.
Edgar Wallace would've liked it :-)
Peak storytelling and atmosphere in 4k. Wow.
This is absolutely fantastic, so atmospheric and gloomy.
Another deserved win for LJ.

Awesome intro and really refreshing setting!
Ha! I really dig the church cam and the birds, that was kick ass. I must admit the the horror thing didn't catch me on the big screen but dude, that's not something to watch home alone in a dark room (like i did yesterday night). really great work, good story telling and great details on that guy. it's not the end, right? right?!
Very well executed. I loved the atmosphere.
An obvious YES of course - crazy stuff!
instant classic
missing thumb!
wtf LJ. WTF <3
Gave me the shivers.
Fuck yeah, from my favourite LJ.
Especially loved the music - didn't sound like 4k and that pitchbend on the sines was tasty.
The visuals/vibe/camerawork/sync just worked so well. Was captivated.

I could watch that 1h30 movie... would take 64k I bet.
insane !
insane !
gave me the chills. in 4096 bytes.

Incredible
I liked it very much! Thank you.
I love it as it is. If there is no space for the "better" soundtrack, then that's how it is. This is a 4k that apart from the usual density, rendering and visual brilliance actually moves me, in an unsettling, goosebumpy, exciting way. The soundtrack that accompanied it works perfectly well here. Take my 7th, painstakingly farmed CDC as token of appreciation.
♥️
♥️
finally we can watch blair witch in 4k!
Slenderman in 4k! =D Just impressive!
Super solid, great atmosphere. If nitpicking, I'm not totally sold on the soundscape, and it would have been great with some sort of image quality degradation on the simple/clean raymarching
Very atmospheric! Got to appreciate that so much attention was put to little details (film scratches and film rolling sounds etc...) They just "are there" and are easy to forget about if not paying attention. Which means great visual coherency.
Found footage short in 4k?!! Wtf! Absolutely amazing, visceral, outstanding work. Soundtrack + cinematography, every fits just in the right place! love this!
pure goosebumps
you just continue to raise the bar year after year
What the.
content, direction, sound. loved everything about this
Alter!
Plot twist. Nice!
I'm all here for the whatthefuck witchy shit <3

You magnificent bastard, you! <3
Outstanding!
Great prod, although there's something in the finish/execution that doesn't work 100% for me. Perhaps it's the camera shake that's sort of weird, or the lack of noise, or just that you expect the birds to go behind the house and then they sort of alpha blend with it instead. Perhaps spending a few extra bytes and going into the 8K compo would have taken this from great to legendary? Anyway, obviously worthy winner.
Good show! A couple of shots could've hidden certain basic geometry better to help maintain suspension of disbelief, but that's a tiny nitpick if anything.
What a great product, congrats!
krass
it even gets some extra points from me: this is one of the few 4k releases that actually runs on my AMD 7800XT <3. most are nvidia only
I smiled from start to end
.boo!
Thank you for this 4k, LJ. It's cinematic and even kinda creeped me out even though the horror cliches made me laugh out loud when watching the compo. Storytelling is not easy with this strange technical medium of ours, yet still you do it.
great creepy cinematic story, the sound design adds up making for a perfect ensemble. and all that in 4k.
feels like a natural extension from your recent prods and is a feat for sure. very authentic sound and visual processing
really ambitious project, with some great stuff - the film fx look nice, the typography is great... it doesn't quite hit me horror-wise, but that's easily forgiven given the constraints, and I have to applaud the fact that you went for this at all. Nice one!
I really adore the Night of the Hunter vibe in the first half, and while I didn't like the second half as much aesthetically, it's probably the best genuine horror I've seen in a prod, so that's great too :)
wtf I wrote a long comment earlier and it's not here?
anyway, good prod.
the "old film" look is done wrong, as it looks like projector gate would be jittering
