This is a masterpiece and big surprise!
Amazing work! Master piece
Wow. 23 years after the video this is a 64k. So at Revision 2048 I hope to see it in 256 bytes. :o)
My favourite wild in 64k!
Triggers the memory lane, brilliant!
So they just used better video codec to reencode the old video, if I'm reading this correctly? I guess ffmpeg rocks these days... which codec and params made this possible, can you share?
🤯♥️
Astonishing!
This is so mind-bogglingly close to the original, both on the visual and audio side, massive kudos guys!
When I saw first scene I thought I'm tripping on something. It finally hit me during the 3rd scene. Last time I saw the original video was like 20 years ago:]
Super impressive. Didn't know the original.

Same. Just nuts amount of geometric and texture detail, and it runs super smooth. It's been a long time since we had a proper "fuckton of content" 64k. Very impressive.Super impressive. Didn't know the original.
God, I had forgotten the original. This was a great feat!
Really good one! Soundtrack is a banger!
Proper content.

yes.
Superb!
This is next level.
My favourite from the party!
My favourite from the party!
Terrible direction, insane visuals.
The Video was cool, but now..... Amazing, my highlight
A masterpiece! big respect.
...what xernobyl said. Amazing remake.
what a mind blowing perfect remake in 64k!! congratz guyz!
This was great on screen, with strong late 90s to early 00s aesthetics, and had me think: yes, that's what 64k should be.
But I had never seen the original.
Now seeing both side by side, I am impressed. Doing a remake is a different beast altogether, and the video shows how faithful this is.
Congrats, definitely one to remember.

Nearly 23 years ago, when I fawned over the original video, I imagined what it would take to someday make it a realtime demo. Not only was that done, but you skipped straight to the "64k intro out of a demo" remake. And unlike some other remakes where the visuals or music are compromised, you actually got some assets and made it indistinguishable from the original. I'm just.. blown away... which is nice to still get out of the demoscene once in a while.
Sick!
Some things look even better in the 64k version than the original :)
Great in many layers of greatness!
This is astonishing!
The best 64k in a while.
Just watched the original, it could probably still win an animation compo today, it's awesome!
I like the idea of recreating an old animation in 64k, it really gives this a nice "retro" aestethic. But I also wanna see new demoscene content of this quality! This intro really reminds one of the fact that content creation really seems to be the main bottleneck for intros beyond 4k.
