• Not my taste at all. It seemed a bit slow too (osx version), but possibly that's just the fact that I have a ton of stuff running and very little memory left :)

• kb: what format is the audio in? I get video but no audio here (using quicktime x, plus perian for all the codecs) and just a 'malformed file' error with quicktime 7. VLC plays it but extremely badly with a lot of clicking in the audio.

• The example build script is thoroughly fucked in snow leopard :( After much arsing around I have it building without warnings (other than depreciated api calls) but it segfaults :( LD's output works fine.
