• Every single demo by ASD has been a blast so far but one important thing makes this so special for me: you really get a crisp and clean look at the transitions this time.
  EOF, Iconoclast, Planet Risk, AA already had some awesome transition effects but very often there was a haze of lightning effects covering the whole screen resulting in a washed out look. In Lifeforce every transition gets the whole attention. And that ads a lot to the overall emotional impression.
  Also, while Amusic usually gets a lot of heat here on Pouet for his use of guitar samples, in my opinion he (and Leviathan) did a tremendous job with this production. This might not be a demo tune in the traditonal way, but it's a real soundtrack in the sense of a movie soundtrack: adding a lot of atmosphere to the demo and delivering an emotional punch. I especially like the hymnic sequence between the swinging light bulb and the end part.
  Already thumbed this up, but once again: Congrats to everyone involved!

• Imho Vics tune in part 2 is still the best soundtrack I've ever heard in a demo.. and this is the favorite demo of my girlfriend. So, I better thumb this up now... or no sex for the next 6 months. :)

• This demo really grows on me after watching it for several times now. Can't get the music out of my head. As opposed to some people here I really like the RGB distortion (try wearing anaglyph glasses while watching this - eeerie!) - in my opinion the colours in the robot part could even be more krass and distorted. What about adding some kind of small channel switching/hacking effect between the individual scenes to reinforce the main theme (if some kind of "final version" is planned, that is)?

• Yep - this is one weird demo. Love the music and Mfx's trademark fire/explosion effects. Runs fine in 800x600... but I wouldn't dare trying a higher resolution :)

• For those who with a Nvidia card who experience severe slowdown in some scenes: Look into your 3d-Settings in the Nvidia control panel. You’ll find an option called "Threaded optimization" (or something like that, I'm running the german drivers here). If this option is set to "On", just switch it to "Auto". This will do the trick...

• Haven't thumbed it up yet... fantastic graphics, great soundtrack, runs perfectly in high resolutions. I don't know why people complain about flybys... if they are done right with high quality models and some variety it can be a pleasing thing to look at!
