- Voxels with random black&white text? good stuff.Excellent? Kick-ass? Amazing? Well, you get the point :-)

- demo Windows Purple by Orion [web]
- Orion should tell us which of their member is a Starcraft fan. Crystals? Alien ships resembling Protoss carriers? It can't be a coincidence! :-) The demo is long, most of the graphics are good. The music themes are also good, but very different from each-other. They did not fit together imho. Some 3D scenes also seem to choke the AGP bus on my GF2MX with textures. I watched the final version btw. Overall, an 'ok' prod. Not bad, not exceptional either.
(a Protoss Archon would make a nice addition though... :P) - isokadded on the 2001-09-26 22:31:38
- intro Windows Paradise by Medieval
- The idea is nice and, as some already said, 'cute'. The models as well as their movement need some work though. The intro uses the 'petit prince' vector effect, which is also nice. What is really good about this prod though, is the music. The happy chiptune is very well done!

- 64k Windows death in vegas by Calodox
- Well, an interesting demo. Your socks will stay in place though. The music is quite original and strange (=good). Surely worth your time and bandwidth.

- intro Windows Scenemusic by Razor 1911 [web]
- The chiptunez are excellent. The colors are nice and it didn't crash, although I was listening to the tunez for a pretty long time...
And, as with the Colin Mc Rae 2 cracktro, a Razor1911 prod brings tears to my eyes... :'P
That's a 'rulez' in my book :-) - rulezadded on the 2001-09-18 01:14:20
- demo Windows Cadence and Cascade by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Guys, sorry to break this up for you, but this is really turning into a flame with every message. I think everyone has gotten the point up to now. *If* there is anything to continue in this conversation, the BBS is a more appropriate place to do it.

- 64k MS-Dos hplus by Halcyon
- Now, that's an intro that displays excellent design, without cool gfx. It has little colors (grey, blue and black) but the idea is awesome, the music can make aphex twin sweat, it has incredible sync. Definately one of the best (if not THE best) intro for the PC.
Halcyon kicking major ass as usual... - rulezadded on the 2001-09-06 14:22:57
- demo invitation Linux Windows VIP 2 by Popsy Team [web]
- Absolutely fantastic.
The best demo I've seen since a very long time.
And about people complaining about the music or the models: If this demo was made by Dreamworks itself, it would still kick major ass! :-) - rulezadded on the 2001-09-05 13:09:08
- 64k Windows fr-08: .the .product by Farbrausch [web]
- If there is one section where this intro wins, it's controversy! :-)
It's actually very simple: Technology / coding oriented people will LOVE this intro. No bugs, the 3D scenes are very good with no apparent problems and the textures are clean and crispy. Also, the music is quite good. Putting all that in 64KB only is just plain impossible!
Art / design guys will probably admit the tech breakthrough but will also never stop complaining that the intro is long and boring, that there is not a concept, a story, a feeling.
So it all comes down to the kind of scener you are, and that's it. I personally like it. Saw it on the big screen for the 1st time and I had to keep my jaw from falling on the floor. :-) No, it's not better that H7. But, it's a well made production, lots of work has been put to it and I think it's always going to be impressive in terms of size. So it gets my thumbs up! :-) - rulezadded on the 2001-09-05 13:01:06
- demo Windows Cadence and Cascade by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Very nice colors, clever and surprising transitions, some very cool graphics. Also, the music theme, although not an original composition, is very well chosen and fits the demo perfectly. Overall, a high quality production from ASD. Watch out for these guys! :-)
The Greek scene is still banging its drums! :-) - rulezadded on the 2001-09-05 05:00:36
