- invitation Windows auLan 6 invitation by Outracks [web] & kvasigen [web]
- kinda big for an invitro isn't it? the ideas and effects were interesting and the music was okay, but not my style.. the code looked to be a bit rough and ready.. as for the design - well, it was unique, but not in what i normally consider a good way..

- 64k MS-Dos Windows heaven seven by Exceed [web]
- classic work. great scenes that seem interrelated, good code, and good mood. best part of this is the ability to turn off the text, an option i've dreamt about when watching many other demos (definitely prolongs the rewatchability factor).

- 64k Windows fr-08: .the .product by Farbrausch [web]
- the more abstract stuff (such as in the screenshot) is really good. for the most part though, it's a protracted, and uninteresting 3d scene player. it gets a thumb up for getting me interested in the demo scene again (typical "all that in 64k?!" as i showed it to all the comp.sci students i knew), and for creating an engine used in much better demos (like poem to a horse). it is, of course, an amazing technical triumph, if not a complete artistic success.

- demo MS-Dos Windows Plastik by Purple [web]
- very old, very good design demo.. still looks and sounds fresh. the music only works if i run it in windowed mode.

- demo Windows Experimental by Wipe [web]
- pretty nice one, even though only a couple scenes actually strike me as being experimental (scrolling cityscape silhouette, etc.).. design was good for the time even if some of the color choices are a little suspect. music is passable. but what's really good is it really communicates the different, slight dirty feel you get from rendering your effects with software.

- demo Windows The nonstop Ibiza experience by orange
- some of the design's okay.. and i liked the music (it's very non-ibizan so it must be some sort of injoke).. but i really missed the point of this.. it doesn't use acceleration but it requires 128megs and a fast processor, so the fact it's software rendered is nothing to boast about, particularly when you have prerendered 3D scenes in poor quality video!

- demo Windows kilometer years from France by HyperCube [web]
- unlike anything i've seen.. simple, unique design that feels fresh, unlabored and unselfconcious.. good transitions, sync'ed voice samples and cute black and white bitmaps.. i want more like this, please.

- demo Windows SuperKsys by Nlogn
- this is some bunk shit.. after waiting around ages for the dealer (server) to deliver the goods, my system necked this, felt something for a few seconds and then overdosed with a msvc++ debugger error.. i'm going to reserve judgment until they release a fixed version, but judging by the image folder, i'd suggest nlogn stop coding demos while high.. (i will give a thumb up if they send me some of their stash though!)
