this is some bunk shit.. after waiting around ages for the dealer (server) to deliver the goods, my system necked this, felt something for a few seconds and then overdosed with a msvc++ debugger error.. i'm going to reserve judgment until they release a fixed version, but judging by the image folder, i'd suggest nlogn stop coding demos while high.. (i will give a thumb up if they send me some of their stash though!)

At long last alas and behold, the nlogn demo from React 2002 :)) I especially like the first scene with the radial-blured pills floating all around. See you at react2003, and this time with a demo that'll run without a bundled copy of the MSVC++ compiler, right? (kakies) :)))

the pills were just a tad slow on my computer and that morphing thingie wasn't morphing smoothly... won't thumb up/down till i see it in full fps

liked the tree background in the landscape scene
liked the music, although it didn't quite fit the demo...

Huh. I saw a "wireframed" tunnel or something, then got Microsoft Visual C (I think) Assertion Failure. Don't think that has happened before.

Due to heavy KsysTrip consumption yesterday we uploaded the ultraksys debug version.So here it is,the release version in all its glory,best served with a bit of ksysidi....

after about a year of waiting I finally see it!!! I really like the blur and the morph thing though it kinda paramorphs at some points :P

A little note for non-greek speakers:
Ksys is a slang abbreviation for 'ksyse', the greek verb for scratching. It is very often used in the expression 'ta ksynw' which means 'I'm scratcing my testicles' (= 'I am lazy and do nothing important'). Hope that helps you grasp the pure essense of this demo :-P

The most extreme greek phrase you can do with ksys, is "ksys t'arxidia sou me gasma". A friend of mine says that, when I tell he encounters a hard insane process of achieving something, on the computer for example. For example, when I told him what I had to do in order to pass a file in my Amiga and finally watch a demo on the real thing, he said "Xys t'arxidia sou me gasma!". I can't translate it properly because I can't remember a proper word, gasmas, which is a tool for diging. It means "Scratch your testicles with a gasma" :)

Oh, and some words about the demo..

Yes,. after that nice loading wireframe formation, it may crash in some computers. Fortunatelly not in mine, thus I had the opportunity to watch and remember it after the last time I first saw it in ReAct. Some effects are weird but still interesting, like the lot's a pills with strange shadows on the walls. Sometimes I can hardly see what's going on cause of a lot of use of radial blur and stuff. I liked the scrolling picture in the middle. At the beginning I thought it was the end and wondered if it was so small but then it had more. The particles are few but nice and I am wondering why the mirroring on the ball is not updated at every frame. Probably it would it some CPU? Anyways,. nice first production for a newbie group like NlogN, waiting for more releases in next ReACt!
