- I agree, Stingray. That plasma does not look good, but I pretty much ran low on fuel, and had to use it in order not to have a very black hole in the intro. So...the next production will be better(tm).

- demo Amiga AGA Aulun Baulund by Focus Design [web]
- Hi! Thanks for the nice reception of Aulun Baulund. I really like that you express that it's different, but that you can still see FD in it. The first effect for the demo was written around October last year and during Trsac Esau played the first patterns of the music for me. We slowly(!) began putting the first things together during Christmas. The process has had its ups and downs, but we're happy that we could release it for Gerp - an oldschool party that you should really visit some time! The demo needs 040+ due to the move16 instruction, which I use for fast clearing of the screen. The music is indeed a 4 channel module and everything is coded in assembly. The synchro is....handmade, i.e. I sit and listen to the module in Milkytracker and note down the interesting events (and with Esau's music there are so many!) and then I put entries in the "demosystem"/scripthandler for that particular column/row in the music. Oldfashioned indeed, but I works for me. We'll be back with more AGA 060 stuff in the future - OCS is not for me, and I leave that to the really hardcore bunch.
