- 80k MS-Dos Symbology by Admire
- It wasn't dq'd - the TP3 intro compo limit was 80k. It placed 2nd after Cyboman.
It was impressive then, but by 1995 lost its appeal. Basically it had two parts, a plasma cube flying over a filled landscape-in-space, and a filled tunnel fly-through. My fave intro of 1993 is still Eclipse (why, I'd better go add it! :) - isokadded on the 2001-06-06 18:08:42
- demo MS-Dos Rotaliator by Dubius
- I think this was the first 32-bit color demo I ever saw.. other than that, it was basically like Machines of Madness, but shorter. Eh, what the hell, I'll give it a rulez.

- demo MS-Dos Explosive by Satire
- It has some cool scenes, like the one pictured above, a "space diner", and a Wipeout clone. Zapper doesn't usually do techno-type stuff but in this case he did a good job. BTW, despite what Dynabyte/Satire said, Explosive didn't place 1st, Nature did. OK, so Vertigo cheated and used their own PC for the compo, but you can't argue with the organizers. :)

- demo MS-Dos/gus Trans Cheddar Express by Da Cheez Brigade
- One of the best North American demos, I think. The effects and music kicked ass. Not much in the gfx dept tho. GUS only, but who knows, maybe it will work with GUSEmu (probably not, though).

- demo MS-Dos Infinity by Craw Productions
- Infinity had rock-solid design - a consistent theme in each part, and some kind of transition between each one. But the music and gfx were pretty simplistic, making the whole thing end up looking like a really cool high school science video :). Still, check it out if you never have.

- demo MS-Dos Explicit by Hornet [web] & OTM
- No, really, I'm not saying it rulez just because I'm in Hornet ;). Actually, it was made right before I joined. The music from Tek/OTM is really cool, and Stony did some nice 2-color backgrounds (the monster thing at the end is odd tho). Highlights include the "remember your history" showcase and the first ever real video cubes (not counting the animated vector cube from 9 fingers :). Sadly, this was Hornet's only party compo entry ever (we just had too much else going on!).

- demo MS-Dos Arise by Beyond
- It ran in 640x480, and had some cool vector objects (the alien lizard thing had its phong highlights jumping off of it at one point). Music/gfx were good.

- intro MS-Dos/gus Face - Poor 2 by Majic 12
- This was a really fun, well designed intro for 1994/PC (I like the "face" guy!), but it's near impossible to get it running anymore :(.

- demo MS-Dos The UFO Project by orange & NoooN
- Yes! This demo rules my ass. Made back when Orange was doing the fun stuff (Fascinating Nature of Moon, Req The Usual, etc. Remember those?)

- intro Windows True Mental Excession by Deus Ex Machina [web]
- Let's try it again (glops ahoy).
