- 4k Windows varus by kolor [web]
- Since my last comment, I've gotten a new Athlon 1.4, looks (and sounds) great now, thumbs up. Very complex scenes for 4k, and some design to boot!

- demo Windows Obs by SquoQuo [web]
- Average as far as the MS01 demos go, but overall not too bad. Some cool 3d scenes, a little on the evil side, the music can be described as "dark experimental" :). But I dig it. Cute "oldschool" part toward the end.

- 64k MS-Dos Fluid Motion by Valhalla
- Sagacity: DemoVT sucks, that's all I have to say.. at least the s3m was included, making it easier to rip. :)

- demo MS-Dos Black Glass 2 by Renaissance
- Couldn't make a screen shot. If anyone succeeds, kudos.
It's a vectorball demo, but you can change the sprites (some cute and evil ones in there). The highlight is the music, it's 4 channel digital plus 9 channel FM-synth (done again later in Amnesia), made in a tracker which was never released. :) CCCatch's tune shows off the FM better than Mosaic's.

- demo MS-Dos DoWhackaDo by Shadow Productions & Renaissance
- Sorry, the screenshot isn't quite accurate (there should be more colors and more text at the bottom) but it's the best I could do.
I love this little old demo because of all the weird Atari-like scrollers.. and it uses about every video hardware trick in the book, making it a challenge to get running right (and take screenshots!) unless you have a 386 (or even a 286!). Includes a cool disco-pop soundtrack from CCCatch. - rulezadded on the 2001-08-28 02:28:23
- intro MS-Dos/gus Daretro by Renaissance
- Made in a time and place where logo+scroller was still accepted :). One of the first to support GUS, tho I think SB support was there too. It's kinda big for an intro (160k) but it is called DareTRO and not Daremo. :) Cool 8-channel tune by CCCatch.

- demo MS-Dos VectorDemo by UltraForce [web]
- Oh look, you got screenshot sand everything! Won't run with my fake-SB onboard sound, I'd have to drag out my old dying SBPro. This is the first demo I ever saw, BTW. Noone who's been in the scene less than 8 years could possibly give it a thumbs up. :)
We're still debating whether or not this should go on the DemoDVD, you'll just have to see if it does. :)
Anyone interested in a MOD-conversion of the soundtrack, with the original samples, send me an email. I managed to do one a couple years ago! - rulezadded on the 2001-08-28 01:42:33
- demo Windows lapsus by Maturefurk
- Yeah, on a P2 with 128mb RAM or so, it will suck, but at 1GHz with 256mb, it'll look flawless, and no more pause between the two parts. :)

- demo MS-Dos Experience by Virtual Illusions
- OK, I'm pretty sure the screenshot is for a different demo (Expiration by Peon?).

- demo MS-Dos/gus Lifeforms by Halcyon
- Nope, this one's really hard to get running on new machines, patched or not. But for the time, it was a trendsetter on the PC (even if they took styling cues from Polka Brothers :).
