- demo MS-Dos The Unreal Thing by Capacala
- AFAIR I have the same endless loop problem as Optimus.. but it's still has some neat stuff (like the road part) and it's less boring than their Zweilight Zone object show. Anyway, I ripped the cool soundtrack and you can download it here.

- I tried the patch on klosz but it still crashes (exits without warning) after the title screen. Config: Athlon 1.4Ghz, 512MB RAM, GF2 Pro 32MB, v22.50 Nvidia driver, Win98, DX8.1. My guesses are either it exploits a bug in this particular Nvidia driver version, or it wants more video RAM.

A little ahead of your time, eh? :) Cool demo, anyway, specially the music. - rulezadded on the 2002-10-23 03:14:00
- demo MS-Dos/gus Groove Action by Plant
- Overlooked funk demo, music by Dune! Kinda TPOLM-y before TPOLM were.

- The original synched intro! Cute and simplistic, tho the ending is a bit sloppy.

- The infamous, cult classic, convtroversial, disqualified, B-movie wild-video-demo from ASM95. Phew! Actually, I didn't like it at first, but it's damned amusing if you can still see it. And luckily the video is crappy enough that you can't really see their you-know-whats. ;)

as posted by gloom above. It has the much-better-working version 1.2. - rulezadded on the 2002-10-20 06:17:13

- Bam. One of the best issues I'VE read, that's for sure. But maybe I'm biased because I hung out with the guys at ASM2002 and my article. :) Keep up the good werk, fellas.

- Latest directx: check (unless you count dx9 beta as "latest")
Latest drivers: no check (using 22.50 on a GF2.. a newer 2x driver might help me, but a 3x driver probably won't and I'm not sure a 4x one will even work)
Win2000: definitely no check. Win98 here.
I don't quite remember the exact part it ended on, will have to watch it again at home for that. - isokadded on the 2002-10-18 19:24:52
